O: I see MKS are more than 7% ahead today, well done.
Dow future up that much? Wow. That should help CCL when their market opens. GGP doing well for me, tempted to say "They're a little gold mine" but in fact they are! NCYT off the boil today but not worried, have already bought some more and might do again as I half expect a further move down this afternoon.

V: OCDO look to be coming out of the "treading water" phase and I (emotionally) predict them to fall some more although I am getting less and less sure of my predictions.

Thanks for the suggestions. No I haven't tried spread betting and to be honest am a bit afraid of it. I note that you bet that OCDO would fall (went short) but now that they are treading water you have closed the position. Obviously as you cannot be reasonably sure whether they will go up or down you have taken the profit. You have made this decision (reacted) to the indications of the chart. Whereas my decision (prediction/emotion) is based on how I feel OCDO are going to go for reasons such as they are just over their all time high, friday profit taking plus general uncertainty.
I agree with your statement "when they are treading water stay out".
I will try using the ema54 line and see how I get on.

V: I am between a rock and a hard place at the moment. I am trying to work the T line with 10 min chart rater than 2 or 3min. This results in less trading going for trends rather that smaller cycles. It is easier on my nerves though. I just looked back at the 2 min chart and T line was indicating to buy back into OCDO at 1542. Doh, here we are at 1560 to buy and the 10 min chart and t line has only just said "buy". Doh! I am not cut out for this stuff.
O: Yea at least AFX hasn't gone down which I suppose is a positive. I will take positives wherever I can find them today especially if they get me closer to opening that bottle of Rioja.

V: 6 mins after my last post, I am getting a buy indication for OCDO at 1551p on 10min graph. I am trying to ignore it convinced they will go lower. Oh err....Mr Big(alow) says Dont predict, React. I can feel one of my mistakes coming on. Good Luck.

V: Hope you are out of OCDO at the moment. I think they have a fair way more to fall. Remember that they achieved their all time high again at 1655 this week (that's after the earlier attempt at the summit above 1510 a few weeks back). Profit taking will take over for a while but I am certain they will be going at that summit again very soon, within a week or two. The tie up with MKS will soon be fully up and running. Hopefully also the world demand for their warehouse technology will take on a new imperative due to the virus.

O: yes, got lucky with GGP, I am up 11% at moment but its more than offset by syn losses (if I sold!). Also AFX seems to have fallen asleep, no movement for 2 days. (last one out turn the lights off!).
On MKS even with todays rise they are still looking cheap, I was playing with them around 107! OK, it will be at least 3 weeks before their shops are fully open but that must be already in the price. I assume their food halls are open now anyway.

V: sold OCDO at 1570 , I should have sold earlier but was off making money elsewhere, Ha!. Also IG wouldn't give me a quote when I wanted one, could have quickly set a limit sell I guess and got maybe 1574. Doh! On top of all that I was somewhat confused because my graph is full of lines (I have emas coming out of my ears) and I keep switching between 2 min and 10min graphs. Can I have a rest over the weekend please, please.
I think with OCDO at these loifty levels, some profit taking will come in later or maybe it has already started. Is it my imagination or is OCDO becoming a bit contrarian, FTSE goes down, OCDO goes up and vice versa.

O: Bought into GGP, smallish amount on tuesday in anticipation of announcement on 30 Apr but there seems to be a lot of chatter about a takeover, I don't mind. I am currently up about 9%. SYN not so good, I bought when they were too high but happy to hold.
L: using 10 min graphs instead of 2 or 3min, seems it has probably saved me an unnecessary sell and subsequent buy back on CCL and OCDO this morning and currently in process of doing the same for me in LLOY (but the jury is still out on LLOY!)

O: Safe bet, especially on the long haul with MKS. I have dipped in and out of them twice this last month. And I agree there will be interesting cross fertilisation between them and OCDO once they get their joint venture really going

L: I am just simply trading shares. My deal ticket doesn't have what you mentioned perhaps I have a simpler account.

L: Just learnt my lesson the hard way, so trigger happy was I on 2 min update that at 14:00 I sold OCDO at 1621.5 convinced that I had half a red candle over the T line, then found myself "having" to buy back in only 2 mins later at 1632.5. When I checked with longer time update of graphs 4 hr all the way down to 5 mins would have signalled to me to hold. Doh
Happy medium, or foolhardy, now, I am using 10min update

L: Your first link to screencast today worked and I used that to find the subsequent screencasts as the other links in your posting failed for me. Having looked at them and I am now using 4hr timeframe live, I can see what you are telling me. It is a slower calmer, perhaps even more certain way to make trades at profit. Of course it misses the small up and down cycles (that are inside the candlestick of the 4 hour chart sometimes!!) that I try to make money on and have to admit, often fail.
Incidentally, I bought back into OCDO at 1592, as the T line on a 2 min chart told me.
I didn't understand your comment "click force open box"? could you expand.
I have been using ema 8 whereas perhaps I should use ema 3.

V: Have been out shopping this morning (there is a free bus for us old folk, once a week to the local town 7miles away) so although I was monitoring the OCDO price, and T line stopped me twice from selling too early, I succumed at 11:22 and sold for 1582, (I think it is aroundthe all time high for the share and I wanted to lock in some profit).
L: Will look at your screencasts later....gosh, I am still only half way through my last homework. Watch a couple of Hectors hints youtubes.

Thanks L, I am busy right now but will look into it soon. I bought OCDO at 1510, it got as low as 1497 but obeying T line would have got me 1504/5.

I ignored the T line when I bought, for any interested it is still saying to wait to buy OCDO. I have just given up predicting but as Mr Bigalow (father of T line) says, you should have to predict but react to what the T line signals are saying. Doh, I will never learn.
