Chris, maybe you should post on the CASH board instead? Can't see it myself. My portfolio has risen every month since April 2020. You may hit it lucky, but the odds are against you IMO.

We all need to accept there will be quite large fluctuations. It's hardly ever just "up"!! This looks like it will still come good, short, medium or long term. The very short timescale is always less clear, unless you have a crystal ball. I'm resisting topping up further, but not sure if I'll be able to resist on another drop.

I'm well up with an average now of only £2.50, but really expecting this to go much higher. Can't understand at all why we've fallen a bit today. I guess it's all down to market weakness today.

I am starting to feel we could be range bound between 14p and 16p until the full year results, perhaps? Large buyers in 14p to 15p range, and sellers appear in 15.5p to 16p range. I guess the supply may drop at some point and we will break up. Here's hoping!

Just looked through the 6 month report, again! Little else to go on. Trying to see what the afcf was, so I can work out the stonking dividend for last year. Am I correct that the company has aligned working stock against afcf for the first 6 months? Mind you all the cash will come from h2 anyway as have only been running independently since start June.

Yes, that is my understanding too. Seems like a mad investing strategy for a volatile share. They have to buy into any spike, and sell at the bottom. How does that make money?

Still over $200 / ton for rest of this FY. Huge profits expected, with at least £1 divi for just 7 months operation since transfer.

Looks like a definite opportunity for anyone not fully loaded.

I guess everyone is down to their last few tons on coal, and are pretty desperate. Not enough to go around so highest bidder wins. Guess China may be willing to spend whatever is required to keep the people warm, and their economy churning out.

There is such a disparity here that is not going to be fixed for quite a long time. Energy rationing for India and China will squeeze this up further IMO. This could easily be a correction in fossil fuel pricing that is badly needed to encourage movement away.

Not entirely true Pig. The divi was 48.8p a qtr in 2018, and has been progressively increasing around 5% a year since. I also do a small amount of trading on this but my core holding is also slowly increasing. Nice.

Totally insane. My holding is now way over where I would normally top slice. Considering if I should now simply ignore my current holding for 6 months, and start up a new holding so I can buy MORE! Have never thought of breaking my system before.

I'm in both RVO. However, I have no plans to sell any here. This is a long term cash cow IMO, that should rise again when we get the full year results.

It's always hard to sell a falling share or buy a rising share. You always feel you've missed out by not deciding earlier.

However, these are actually the best actions most of the time. Ride the winners.
