Is Ingenuity growth in line with expectations Notsofastyou...? The RNS reads year on year growth to be 1.3%, which is disappointing.

I've already said, beauty and nutrition are good given the macro.

I'm not a deramper property, I'm a shareholder, check my previous posts. Just trying to read it and give my thoughts rather than blindly saying "great results, up we go".

We have to be honest with ourselves. Nutrition and Beauty are performing well given the macro, should continue to do well into christmas trading, and is where the true value lies in THG. Ingenuity is disappointing and I really hope the new CEO gets a shift on with onboarding these larger customers they're now going to target.

I wouldn't be surprised if the share price barely moves off this trading update.

I'd say growth is looking fairly disappointing, however, when compared to the car crash RNS's that ASOS and Boohoo had, I think this is pretty good.

Ingenuity needs to improve though.

Yes there are negatives about the earnings, the operating loss, the loss guided next quarter. But beyond that, the picture looks more rosy to me. Back to profit making, new commercial model up and running, and a CEO who understands the difficulties for ASOS and how to tackle those issues head on.

Markets are forward looking, they foresaw the decline in the macro and the poor results now. That's why we're at the price we're at today. The market will also price in the future picture, which to me is much brighter than it is today. You can wait for everything to look better if you want, but you'll be buying shares at £20-£30.

Simon, aren't Liberum the same people who called for a 800p price target on THG last year? Pinch of salt.

I traded asos today. In at 490p out at 560p. Took complete profit and loaded here. Hoping for a delayed squeeze.

They'll be bad. But they at least prepared the market with the bad news of possibly needing to use the revolving credit facility. Inflation is reducing, I'm hopeful that guidance will be strong. We've cleared the deadwood management out, the future isn't as bad as the share price is suggesting.

Asos shorts in 2016 peaked in January 2016 at 3000p ish. The price then went up to 7200p in the following 18 months.

Contrary to popular belief, buying THG at IPO should really be "for the brave".

We're at bargain basement prices and people seem to think that is high risk.

Currently sitting at $47 when we hit $81 back in February this year. $47 is around the same levels as early 2019.

Keep in mind, dry whey was at $67 back in April of 2021, when THG has a SP of around 650p.

Let that sink in.
