Cutting the dividend should have been done last year. At least they are showing corporate responsibility by doing this and stopping bonuses. I don’t believe this company will go bust, it is a long haul back for them but by not paying a dividend for several years will allow growth to return

One can only hope the Saudi madness will soon stop and the growth required post Coronavirus will require plenty of oil and gas. I’m pretty sure most countries won’t follow the uk green policies. As for Nuclear assets they will be making a fortune right now, the uplift on availability prices is in the region of 700%. Long term the value of such assets will be reassessed, the outcome is unknown. I agree stop the dividend and get a Chief Exec with market respect whatever the cost, raise the game then split the company to give some value back to shareholders. I read an article about data being more valuable than oil. Centrica has millions of customers that must be the way forward.
Conn being replaced, £50 mill saving next year, fully hedge whilst gas in low. Slow down of customer losses. Contract for charging stations, sale of assists hopefully good price and by no more investments as declared by hurricane then I can only see this share on the up in the next 18months.
I’m back in this morning . Some may disagree but a lot of BS on here
