I agree this won’t be a quick recovery and thankfully they don’t own any of the distribution network like SSE AND NGC after Corbyn plan to renationalise has reduced those shares even more.
I think Centrica will ultimately split/ hive off assets under a new CEO. Even with the dividend cut it’s still a good return and the balance sheet will be bolstered.
There are a lot of depressed people with heavy losses on here. Would it really take that much to return value to this share?
A new CEO would be good
Selling the Nuclear share
Hiving of Spirit energy or realising it’s valur
Has storage is finished so the closure of Rough will save millions
This on top of selling other non core assets
I read yesterday EON demanding to see the regulator about losses they cannot return through cost cutting
Innogy virtually bankrupt
EDF lobbying over price cap
So not just centrica.
With all of the above Centrica ranked 22nd for performance (I believe)in the FTSE 100.
Maybe some rebranding and streamlining will be enough. A dividend cut for the short term would also ease government pressure and public anger. I think I’m going to start buying, I think with a little managerial foresight could be a winner and bazzer gets his £100k back
The big six I believe have to pay additional costs for supplying green energy from generators adding £150 ish to bills. Smaller suppliers do not, does anyone know the requirements for a supplier to have to do this and does it end on the near future
Only 15% voted against his pay award??? This doesn’t bode well

I hear this from ex colleagues, I also think Conn will be gone soon before any more damage. I hope things improve and work out for staff. I took early retirement when they criticised me for not utilising a life coach ffs. I believe the company can recover but I think it will be a few years under a new BOD which is imminent
I guess you are an unhappy employee, I don’t blame you one bit. I am aware of the inland revenue rules and estimated the deals from this year at the current share price. I used to be an employee in a senior position and thank god I no longer am. My comments were based on my earlier post and new management, I know how good the employees are and I just hope they are around to reap some reward from share schemes once a recovery happens.
