Maybe you should direct that comment to the many on here who have been posting that it would be a get rich quick investment imminently for the last 6 months!

I can't see any reason for the share price dropping today if people believe we will be on the list.

You should have waited until tomorrow when the list is announced and it will be under £1!

While this is definitely good news for UK (hopefully!) companies involved in all aspects of LFT, I don't see the general public having any interest in making a critical analysis between the different LFT products to any great degree. Were it not for the fact that I have an interest in Avacta, I wouldn't even be aware of the Innova shambles and I certainly wouldn't have had a clue about relative specificities and sensitivities, etc. and I don't know any of my friends who would either. We would all just look at a list of authorised providers and pick the cheapest we could get as long as it was available. Hopefully, Avacta will get a fair share of the sales but the real jewel for Avacta is AV6000 IF that is successful.

As it happens my wife and one of our daughters are going to visit another daughter who lives in Switzerland on October 23rd. My wife had been looking at PCR tests so is pleased that they will now be able to get LFTs instead. I asked her how they would choose and it will be based purely on the cheapest that is on the list which is what I would do. I suspect 99% of travellers will choose on that basis also. Like most of the population, my family have absolutely no idea which tests are superior is terms of accuracy.

But we're still waiting for one of the strings to fire an arrow. Until it does, the share price will just continue to fall.

Definitely the Vatic article. I checked the price on Friday as soon as I read it on here and it had gone up a bit by then so I assumed it was too late to buy a few! Silly me!!!!

What impact, if any, would this have on the Avacta test (and others)? Also, I see in the article that Abingdon will be making large numbers of this test. Was Abingdon not supposed to be making the Avacta test?

I'd be interested to know why ADC decided not to take the programme any further.

I wish I was as confident about my Avacta shares as I am that the Pfizer vaccine will give me plenty of covid protection and will do me absolutely no harm at all.

Agreed. Not having to wait doesn't bother me. What bothers me more is seeing all these clowns posting every day that something is going to happen! Like everybody else, I know nothing but at least I have the sense to know that I know nothing!

Looking at theway the share price is moving, the market is obviously not expecting anything of significance.

£100 on the 10/1 shot, please, to offset a small amount of my Avacta losses!

I'm afraid this is happening with monotonous regularity!

Looking at the share trades this morning I make it around 70,000 sold and 125,000 bought. Therefore, why would the price go down by over 5p?
