As a generally Conservative voter, I bucked the trend in the last election by voting LibDem as a protest against his election to party leader and would never vote for a party with a leader who I believe tells lies as a matter of course and has only one interest which is looking after himself. Whatever policy he follows is based on nothing more than the hope that he will remain popular and the interests of the country are not considered unless they alignes with his own interests. The man is and always has been a complete fraud!

Agreed but the wait would be much less pain without these idiots telling us every day that the price is about to zoom without the slightest bit of evidence to back it up! If AV6 is successful, one day it might but if it isn't the value will be less than 10p so we can only wait and hope.

You've done better than me because I'm 75% down since last February! It's done nothing but go downwards since and I cringe every time one of the rampers comes on and says how wonderful it is as it almost certainly means another day further into the red! Typically, today, an announcement of GSK's potential healthcare sale brings out a message of how it could encourage a sale of Avacta when it isn't certain the sale will happen and, if it does, there are hundreds of small biotechs which GSK are just as likely to buy as Avacta even if they did want to buy any!!

The price certainly won't be up if AV6000 results prove to be unsuccessful!

Successive Governments over many years have never invested in any UK companies. That's why we have an energy crisis and why most of our leading technology companies are allowed to be sold to foreign buyers. We are generally governed by a group who are incompetent, corrupt or both!

I'm afraid there is corruption everywhere these days. In Government, in business, In fact, everywhere where there is an power! I read another newspaper article recently about a Tory MP who is actually Polish but is obviously now a UK resident. He has been found to have put in an expense claim for £22,000 for language tuition in Polish, his natural language, which he speaks fluently!!!!!

Might be exciting some people on here but certainly doesn't seem to be exciting the market judging by yet another share price fall!

It's also going to spend a lot of that cash on a large share buyback which means it's very unlikely to buy any large company although could still afford to buy a tiddler like Avacta.
