Remember that situation well Treacle24, as was one of those left holding shares in NWOG.
As you say, can't see that type of situation happening with a FTSE100 company, though stranger things have happend...?
Big time I would have thought, would expect to see the same rise again at open tomorrow, may not last throughout the day... but plenty will try to buy in tomorrow. GLA!
Sure we'll see that price, if not more in the morning... plenty will be trying to buy tomorrow at market open. GLA!
Hi All, Happy New Year! Great to see the share price holding up well here compared to the rest of the markets. Is this now a little top heavy at current price or do we expect new highs going forward, with the newly introduced tariff price caps now in place, do TEP now become a bigger player within the comparison market?
No worries Pigsy... In the past I have done it myself, by selling and rebuying, sometime getting af ew more for the same cost, somtimes losing a few... Would certainyl suggest making the most of the ISA benifits, I suppose it depends how much tax your realistically think you have to apy on any of the returns in the trading account.
If you have both accounts with the same platform, they can usually do it for you... though you may lose some of your shares, as they will just sell your current lot and buy them back again, so spread and trading costs to consider, or you can do it yourself if you are prepared to wait and play the bid and ask in your favour?
Beat me to it.... It's the little details that make a great big difference!
That would be as they are currently quoting 12p to buy... that looks like a cheap sell price offered!
Was thinking of topping up, just been quote 10p to buy.
Latest RNS out this afternoon, would suggest he is borrowing against a large amount of shares, 1.4 million to be exact. Intriguing.

Some would say that is lose change for directors to put in, some shareholders may take it as an insult, that it is indeed so little, I personally can't see anyone with a sane mind putting anymore money into this company... This has a long way to go before any LTH's put their hard earned cash into the company again, having read both the last RNS's, one would get the impression that they are not bothered whether they have shareholders or not... As for cash shells, isn't their a 6 month limit for them to actually do something with it and the soon to be raised 1million, otherwise it delists, unless they already have some sort of investment opportunity lined up to hit the ground running with, that 1million will soon disappear , which if they do have something lined up why aren't the shareholders the first to know, would be an appreciated gesture? For me personally, I won't be attempting to average down, as my holdings value is 1.50, hardly worth trying to recover if I'm honest. Good luck to those who attempt to persist with this.
So many false dawns with this lot... we can only hope that they have actually backed a winning venture this time. What do you make of the proposal to rebrand the company?
Totally agree with you there Georgic.. Though my holding which currently stands worth at £1. is probably now worth less than the paper that RNS was written on, granted that was probably worth about two sheets of paper. KIN is a joke of a company, and harsh as it sounds to those who have lost even more than I have over the last 2-3 years holding these, I would prefer the company just disappears now, as releasing billions of new shares is just stringing out a little longer before the inevitable happens, mgmt have really screwed this up, and just want one last pay-check out of all of us, well they are not having the shirt off of my back! To think this had potential a couple of years back, how did it go so wrong. GLA to the rest of you holders out there.
So the RNS lands, not surprising news... Though looking at the trade that went through just before it landed, was a sale of 600 shares, returning £1.98 really worth it? Bizarre indeed!
I would suggest he has friends in high places who like to short, he is only the puppet with a reputation of negativity, so in turn when he does open his mouth people sell and run, whilst making him and the ones above him money... win-win if you are in on it, some would say very astute. Doubt he worries much about shareholders pockets or portfolios, as long as his pay-master are lining his palm with twenty pieces of silver. Is his Pizza place still operating, nothing like selling dough for an inflated profit margin?
IF this is true, then Ryanair deserve everything that is coming to O'leary (Sorry to you the shareholders!) https://www.facebook.com/LBC/videos/vb.117611746557/10155464691436558/?type=2&theater May just be one pilots view on things, though if he is speaking from a realistic view point, then this is shocking!!
Been a holder since November 2014... You don't need to know the rest.
