The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Chickn, no its correct. Someone dumped on Wednesday (yesterday) but the price was higher on Tuesday. My point was personally if I intended to get rid of 50k worth of shares I would time it into a spike....waiting a day then selling lower seems a daft thing to do, it would make more sense to wait again...ok, who am i to judge?
Whoever dumped the ,millions yesterday (if it was 1 person) managed to lose themselves over 10k in profit just by waiting a day. DOH! All sold on average @ 1.254 instead of hitting the spike and getting at least 1.4 on Tuesday. Go figure.
nice set of posts and true words. I too only have a small holding and wish I could afford more but am cautious enough only to invest what i can afford to lose...which i have done a few times during the many tears playing on AIM. Its a nasty market and has got worse IMHO over the past couple of years and the BB's are getting more and more nasty...whether tahts traders or young keyboard warriors I couldnt say. I think GGP has massive potential, intend to stay and have a target well into double figures here which I am patient enough to wait for a few years. TBH, I'll be disappointed if we dont reach 10p by early 2019.
greenmile, GH has posted "looking forward to following up on excellent results from from first drilling campaign at Havieron which included bonanza grade intervals in first hole" He posted this a few hours ago on twitter.
a Hint.? Hope so
I know I like to use Solgold as comparison...but do compare yesterdays RNS with the Solgold figures...
GGP 4 Sept 2018...-- High grade gold results include 81.7g/t and high silver values (up to 106.1g/t silver);
SOLGOLD On 23 September 2010, in what raised SolGold's share price by almost 300%,[2] it announced that 157 samples from its project on the Fauro Island had returned 97.6 grams per tonne (g/t) gold, and 90.1g/t silver
I have edited the result to maintain my rose tinted view of course. But have not changed any figures.
Am prepared to be shot down but I think GGP is looking darned good. DYOR
Going back to my comparison with SOLG does the following assumption make sense or am I talking rubbish.?
Haverion RNS contained the following ...."Exceptional drill assay results from Greatland's first drill hole (HAD001) at Havieron establish the presence of high grade gold (peak 137.69g/t or 4.4 ounces per tonne)"
On 23 September 2010, in what raised SolGold's share price by almost 300%,[2] it announced that 157 samples from its project on the Fauro Island had returned 97.6 grams per tonne (g/t) gold
So...this means Haverion potentially contains over 30% higher yeild.?
Is that a correct analysis.?
Thom , SOLG went from 1.3p to 46p in 18 months. If GGP results over the 6 targets are as positive as GH has tweeted and RNS then we could easily see double figures here. I truly believe this is possible and am holding til double figures myself. Just my HO and one I am hoping for.
With the risk of appearing shaky is anyone else concerned at the large apparent dumping going on. There has been over 5 million offloaded today in large lumps....why.? Personally this does have me concerned as we had the same just before the newmont news although they were warrants. Someone offloaded before a nasty piece of news. Not deramping at all as I still hold but I will be fing livid if we get stuffed again.
