How odd that Mr Hall appears to know nothing of a problem regarding the minutes of the meeting of 18th October until the morning of the meeting of 15th November. On 3rd November, I sent the following email directly to him! I refer to the minutes of the meeting of 18th October. I note that what was a request to Europa at that meeting, to engage with relevant parties, is now an instruction to engage in order to understand issues and seek to mitigate these. Hopefully you will point this error out at the meeting scheduled for 15th November, as this alteration appears to pass the responsibility for the decision to approve or deny the TMP from the planning committee to the Leith Hill Action Group.

I've never heard any promises from the board, I've only heard about great opportunities. The board can do what they like, but it transpires that the planning committees at SCC & NLC were never going to say yes. Blame them, not Europa.

From the last annual report: The current phase of the permit expires in March 2017. Although we successfully obtained a farmin partner for Tarbes Val d�Adour we have been unable to find a partner for B�arn des Gaves. It is unlikely that we will be able to conclude a farmin in the time remaining, and even if we did, it is unlikely that we could obtain the necessary approvals and extension from the French authorities. We have therefore decided to write-off the carrying value of the permit in the current year.

Dalester, for your information: Oil and gas exploration onshore France is frustrated by the French Government�s lack of support for the industry. This is demonstrated by the continuing delay, since February 2015, in approving Europa�s farmout of the Tarbes val d�Adour permit interest to Vermillion. In fact no onshore France permits have been issued or renewed in the past twelve months. Europa will continue to progress its operations in France, but has taken the decision to write down the carrying value of the B�arn des Gaves permit to nil � resulting in an exploration write-off in the current period of �1.2 million. Maybe you should do more research before slating the company.
