A return on an investment in ANY business is all down to 'ifs and buts'. If you want to invest in a dead cert you're out of luck anywhere. As for the share price not being able to break 10p, I suggest you do some basic research. I question the fact you have held shares in Europa for over 6 years as you seem quite keen to do what you can to persuade people to sell. Has it gone down to below 5p as you predicted it would yesterday? If you think it will and you actually hold any shares, I suggest you sell now and buy back below 5p. Simple.

However, the market is forgetting about Corrib, Maxwell, Holmwood, Wressle etc., and Drombeg could still quite easily be mahoosive - if it is I can't see Europa not being bought out by a super major.

Ghr, it's a fear rather than an opinion of what they WILL do. DOR is miles undervalued at the moment in my opinion. If I were to launch it in a new market I would offer it with hype that could be mirrored by performance. If it starts with huge potential, miles undervalued, with lots of cash and offering a deal for a new investment on the new investors doorstep and, it then quickly increases in value as the new investors go for it, it's a win win for the company. My worry is that not all of the required ingredients are in place. This is only my opinion. If I trusted the directors this wouldn't have crossed my mind. When I have asked questions I have been directed down blind alleyways or, in my opinion, given considerable abuse.

My big fear is that the Aussie directors are planning to stitch up the UK investors, to make DOR more attractive when/if it lists on ASX. Read into that what you will. I honestly hope I'm completely wrong. My experience of the directors has been disconcerting.

Yes, I've been able to buy a few cheapies today. If Drombeg is a duster I'll buy a few more when the price drops. I most certainly don't want it to be, but they will become even more of a bargain. If Drombeg is a gusher, hold on to your horses!

I voted against him, but it was a vote of protest rather than something that could actually happen, because he will vote to keep his cushy income and I expect he has more shares than those that would vote against him put together. He could certainly bank on Hamish's vote because he would see he might be next. I wonder if we'll ever know the result of the vote? Zimbabwe comes to mind.

Thanks for clarifying that Adnatrob. I'm really not sure that a leaflet drop would make the slightest difference to LHAG, FoE, the Unite Union or anyone else opposed to onshore oil and gas production. But hey ho, we all have our individual opinions.

AimHigh, I've got a lot of cash tied up in Europa, and personally I would rather risks were kept where they currently are. If I wanted a higher risk investment, I'd move everything to PVR. If I wanted it safer, I'd move everything to UJO. IMO
