Yes, I'm sure we are both old enough and ugly enough (speaking for myself) to have seen it all before. Ironically, I wasn't that disappointed by today's let down. I was not expecting anything new to be revealed and therefore no RNS necessary. As you say, we've seen it all before.
The SP will go down tomorrow as predicted by Knowlesi - we've seen that before. And, he will be pilloried for telling as it is - seen it all before.

GF, my last post was to your last but one, only just seen this.
I don't think people are spreading fear and doubt. I think given the nature of the investment, fear and doubt is just there. Who of don't have doubts in terms of whether the products will be successful in trials. Even if they are, will they be commercialised? Who doesn't fear they may not loose part of their investment?

Well simply not true. I'm sure there are many like me that don't fall for the unbridled optimism hawked around from week to week. I have my fill of shares here and do NOT want to see a low SP. what I'm sure most LTHs want is a MUCH HIGHER sp so we can take some profit.
Please don't blame the Company's sluggish performance, lacklustre presentations and failure to commercialise some pretty good science on people wanting to "buy lower". I'm afraid those are a figment of your overactive imagination. If such people exist, they don't need to spread negative thoughts, merely to keep quite and wait. ATB.

You've taken the current number of shares in your calculation, arriving at $2.27. If we were to get such an attractive offer as $1.85B, it would be inconceivable that Redmile did not convert their loan notes. So a fully diluted price would be $1.88 or £1.33
I'd take that without hesitation.

Yes, that's one of many possibilities as well.

TF, yes it is and I cede to Roses greater knowledge in this field. In my opinion, IF there were price sensitive news they couldn't (within the rules) sit on it for over a week in order to coincide with an investor presentation. Therefore I am expecting no new news at the presentation. However, there may be reason for a change in sentiment which itself may have an effect on the SP.

I wasn't rubbishing your theory, merely wondering why it would be a strong buy in those circumstances. I guess 6p was a good buy.
There does seem to be something happening that s having a negative effect on the SP.
We know we are funded for SCIB1 and MODI1 and we know Scancell are seeking additional/separate funding for Covidity so I can only assume the presentation will be addressing the latter. I guess we are all just speculating at the moment.

Totally agree with extremely measured post.
I think speculation amongst shareholders is running amok, fuelled as much by media coverage as lack of news "from the horses mouth"
This is a complex situation - medically, scientifically and commercially. As you say, lots of "loose ends". How will it be financed? What will be the commercial implications? How positive is the pre-clinical data? Etc etc.
It may well be as much a reality check as a revealing of earth shattering new information.
Personally I can't see an RNS on Thursday 7:30 and then waiting 10 hours for the presentation. I think the news will come on Friday after we have been primed Thursday evening.
Just my thoughts.
