As Bermuda has pointed out, I think we all understand there are many differences between Scancell and Idera (or any two individual biotechs for that matter)
That doesn't mean to say we have to close our eyes to the similarities.

Onward yes, upward remains to be seen. The Idera trial does highlight two of the major risks - no clinical benefit and increased adverse effects.
The shares were down 66% showing how susceptible bio stocks are to bad news. Of course, the opposite is true as well. It's probably just as well we are Covidity focused at the moment so hopefully we wont have too much fallout from a melanoma failure.

Thanks for posting. The small errors do not make a lot of difference to the overall sentiment of the article. The investment case is simply stated and may appeal to investors new to biotech or just new to Scancell. It is publicity as you say. The author states he only recently became aware of Scancell, doubtless as a result of Covidity in the news.
As for clinical trials underway, well no worse than saying clinical trials will start "immediately" and then not for two years. Maybe the article was supposed to be released tomorrow after the RNS!

I agree, I think Avidimab could be a game changer.
I worked for a large software house and in addition to business application software we wrote some development tools to sell to other companies. Then we thought, hang on, we should use these ourselves - so we did! Made the development process quicker, simpler and resulted in better quality software.
I see something similar happening with Scancell, over the years they will have built up a significant amount of valuable assets - platforms, intellectual capital, processes, working practices, diagnostics, contacts, reputation, expertise, patents etc etc. All coming together I think. That's why I don't worry about MM's and resistance levels. Resistance is futile as they say!

To reiterate, I think we will hear something about our Covid vaccine soon. When we do, things could move very quickly. We should be able to get a good idea of efficacy even before trials start from blood tests. Here's an interesting article...
