You can lose money on biotechs by either 1) not doing any research or 2) doing lots of research, reading scientific papers, soliciting opinion from bbs etc.
The advantage of 1) is you have more time for important things like watching football etc.

Just to be clear, I'm not criticising, merely stating facts. I am fully aware of all the issues Scancell have faced in respect of the SCIB1 combo trial.

If I have a criticism it is this: If you make time related statements such as "immediately", "within weeks" or "near to short term" then you must either 1) meet those promises or 2) say you won't (with reasons) BEFORE the deadlines are reached and give a revised target. I think Scancell's habit of announcing the timing of an event followed by complete radio silence is the cause of much frustration here.

We are still waiting for a patient to be recruited let alone dosed.
Let's hope we can do a bit better with Covidity.

Well, if you'd been paying attention you would know that Monday is the least likely day statistically.
So expect news to land anytime from Tuesday up to 15th (but not Mondays and Fridays) :)

Yes , statistically Tuesday is the most likely day for an RNS.
I have been thinking about producing a daily RNS probability forecast. Very much at the drawing board stage! :)

I understand the frustration caused by high expectation followed by crushing disappointment.
To judge whether the level of disappointment is merited, here are some RNS facts.

Average days between RNSs (since 2011) - 20
Days since last RNS - 73
Longest time between RNSs - 123 days (31/01/2011 SCIB1 safety review to 3/06/2011 appointment of broker)

Most likely day for an RNS - Tuesday (26%)
Least likely days - Monday (17%), Friday (18%)
(Wednesday 20%, Thursday 19%)

So fully expecting an RNS on Tuesday, or Tuesday week latest :)

BTW, I have only taken into account RNSs of scientific and financial importance and excluded things like director dealing, holding notices and price monitoring.
