The aim rules state clearly that resignation, dismissal and appointment of directors must be notified.
Whilst there is no obligation to report other appointments, the recruitment of key, senior personnel may reveal a statement of direction or have an impact on cash burn. Either of these could be deemed price sensitive and as such should be notified.

Whilst I have some sympathy with the view that history is important, I think speculating what might have been is even less useful than speculating what might be. We just don't know what may have come along instead had we not attracted Redmile. The fact is, they (Redmile) have significantly filled our coffers and going by the recruitment drive the past months, is being used to progress things on many fronts. Hopefully, some will succeed, possibly a number if not all will succeed - who knows.
It is a shame that the news lull prompts some to have a dig and others feel it necessary to have a ramp.

I think SCLP have made the regulatory submission price sensitive by issuing this statement and repeating it quite recently.

"The Company continues to progress the Modi-1 Phase 1/2 clinical trial for regulatory submission in the first half of 2021".

So, if there is no confirmation of the submission by 30th June, there will be an impact on the price. So either way, there must be some sort of announcement by the end of the month. Tuesday is statistically the most likely but I wouldn't be surprised if they issued it on Wednesday 30th - just in time!

No it doesn't relate to targets at all. There are 15 possible combinations of constructs to make the Covid vaccine.
Take a look at Prof Durrant's slides referred to in last years AGM.

The version number, if/when it is released will be SCOV1. This is referred to in the January update. It will be called SCOV1 regardless of the underlying SN14/15 as it will be the first drug produced. (Like SCIB1 ) :)

My understanding was that there are 3 N constructs and 5 RBD constructs. You need one of each so there are only 15 combinations.

I think you are right, they will leave it as late as possible. Wednesday 30th June, update on SCOV1, SCIB1 combo and plans for SCIB2.

I worked it out a while back and quoted from memory.
The TD "likelihood of success" percentages were
SCIB1 20%
SCIB2 15%
MODI1 10%
SCOV2 10%

So flipping it, the chances of failure are:
SCIB1 80%
SCIB2 85%
MODI1 90%
SCOV2 90%

To work out the probability of multiple events, multiply them together:
.8 x .85 x .9 x .9 = .55 (55%)
So chance of all failing = 55%
Chance of at least one succeeding = 45%

Oh course you are right. It would be nice if Prof Durrant posted her own chance of success thoughts but I doubt that will happen.

Regarding odds, if you take the Trinity Delta's chance of success numbers, there's about a 50% chance that at least one will succeed. So that means a 50% chance that they all fail - so not as low as you might think. Personally, I don't think those are bad odds considering the potential rewards.

The other thing you need to factor in - the pipeline is based on the scientific thinking of one team, mentored and guided by one person. So if one fails, there's a higher chance they all may fail. The flip side to that is, if one works, they all work!
