One other thing: Selling is a GOOD thing, as it improves liquidity. I remember when I first invested in SCLP it was a small amount. Once I had skin in the game, I researched more and felt confident to invest more. What we need is more investors rather than the same investors investing more.

As another long term die-hard investor, let me chip in: Why do “we sell” 1. We need the cash 2. We have lost confidence in the company 3. We think the share price will fall Just because we think the share price will fall, doesn’t mean we have lost faith in the company. I class myself as a diehard lth as I have invested a substantial amount over a long time (6 years now) During that time, there have been 2 occasions when I have sold out completely (following news) when I felt the share price would fall. On both occasions I was only out for a matter of days and on both occasions ended up with a lot more shares for the same money. So I would say to everyone, it is up to each individual how they invest, they are not answerable to anyone else and should not feel demeaned by anyone saying otherwise.

Wild, depends on what RNS are released before 30th April. Bad news would cause a drop in sp and poor take up of the oo which later down the line a further drop in sp. Good news (moditope patent for example) may be restrained until the oo is out of the way. Mega news may mean the OO is ignored totally (and a 100% take up)

Hot, what would be the basis for a big pharma to hand over a big wadge of cash to SCLP? Some shares? What price would they be prepared to pay - 12p perhaps? Or do you think they are so awash with cash that they would happily bay over the odds? What assurance/guarantees would they need? Water tight patents granted in all major markets perhaps?

ONW, agree with most of what you have said over the past day or so, I feel much the same. I think the 10p placing could have been 12p and yesterday's 12p could have been 14p. This would have raised more cash or same with less dilution. It would also have provided a higher floor (looks like it will be 12 or less now) I am also slightly concerned that there is yet another platform to fund. It has been suggested that SCLP aren't keen to do a deal for less than what THEY think it is worth but I think they need to raise funds off the back of one of these to develop the other two, even if this means a big discount.

In the end I didn't as I figured Scancell with cash was worth a lot more than Scancell with no cash.

Inan, you must speak some sort of encrypted language, I barely understand half of what you say! Thanks for trying anyway. I did consider selling half my shares today in expection of them dropping to the placing price.
