I would suggest we are not very far along this road. We have some products based on arguably sound science. Until the data is "great" we can't call the products or the science great. So far these elements are unproven. There is also the assumption that once you have proven the products and science through gret data, the deals will come. I hope this is the case. There's a long way to go yet. We are perhaps further away from monetising assets now than we were back in 2012. (due to moditope coming along)

So how old is it now and how does it compare to average life expectancy of a mouse?

Ivy, you have it spot on. I moaned about the placing at various discounted prices but bought loads more when it dropped to 10p. At least that tranche is showing profit!

I think they do. Scancell are a long, long way off generating ANY revenue let alone profit. So it's a deal of some kind (and there are many different kinds) or come round with the begging bowl every couple of years. The more platforms that look likely to succeed, the more money they will need.

Ray, I can’t find any rhyme or reason to it. A number of companies with inferior science and poor trial results are bought for mind boggling amounts of money whilst Scancell sits on the shelf leaving investors waiting and hoping.

Either there is some fundamental flaw that none of us have spotted or our time will come.

Ratty, no they won’t stump up cash because scientists are interested, only when the scientists have run the trial and got the right results. Scientists/researchers are motivated by entirely different things to big corporations. It was a simple and to me obvious point.

Inan, would you agree there is a world of difference between a research scientist wanting to get involved in research and a big pharmaceutical putting up hard cash?

A simple yes or no will suffice.
