I didn't get the meaning encapsulated in the two exclamation marks, could have been interpreted in a couple of ways.

The point is, if the announcement is made when the markets are closed, the only thing you can't do is trade. So trade when the markets are open, either before or after, the choice is yours!

Buy the day before when the markets are open, or are you not that confident?

In times where there is a dearth of of news the BB either goes quite, off topic or begins to speculate. But when we are down to someone’s interpretation of another’s impression (for uncertain motives) of someone’s else’s LACK of concern we really have hit rock bottom! Maybe LD was busy cooking something up from the turkey leftovers?

Hope everyone is enjoying the festive period and here’s wishing everyone a happy new year. Hopefully, this will bring some real news and perhaps 2019 will be the long predicted/awaited “pivotal” year.

TommyF, can’t see an offer of 20-25p getting “majority” acceptance personally. Speaking for myself, I haven’t tied my money up for 6 years in a high risk investment to end up with a poxy 33% return (=5% pa). There are many investors with a higher average than me (a few with a lower) so the returns for them would be even less. As I have said before, for me (TF FOR ME) its 1000% or nothing.

I do agree with your earlier statement, the SP is going nowhere until there is something in trial.

Ivy, you are spot on! I think I get some stick because I am too open and honest and as you say we will all feel differently about a certain situation. This is why I get annoyed when people tell you not only what you should do but how you should feel.

No apology necessary, I don’t feel insulted. It was Matt that said that not me, although I fully get where Matt is coming from - thanks for the support Matt.
I do accept that you have held as long (slightly longer actually) than me so no accusation of being a “Johnny come lately “ from me. It is somewhat puzzling why you have not been vocal or chosen not to fully understand the science until relatively lately. We did discuss this a while back, so no need to reopen the debate as far as I’m concerned.

The only thing I would say to you is please don’t fall into the Inan trap of trying to dictate to people whether they should buy, hold or sell. It is a completely personal decision how much money, what proportion of portfolio to throw at this and equally how risky someone considers it.

Wild, I agree, I’ve never had a problem with the results to date.

Ray, where on earth did you imagine I’m not impressed with the Science? The data and result cannot fail to impress. Am I impressed? Yes. Does this guarantee commercial success? No. (IMO). It’s my money and I’ll hold if I want to. I’m prepared to write it all off rather than sell at these levels.

5 year result - Financially dire. Memory? Oh yes, I remember the SP in the 60s, 50s,40s,30s,20s, teens and single digit!
