Wigwammer, you are correct about a subsequent rise. The reason I omitted it was I don't see that as a pull-up (being the opposite of a pull-back)
The temporary rise following the win would simply return to where it was. The fall following a non-win would stay until further news was released resulting in a rise that could well be far higher than the starting position pre GC.

Not at all. The "dumb nuts" as you say are the ones who take into account ALL available information, RNS, scientific papers, "expert" analysis and even the views of people here. They then process all the information, draw conclusions and act accordingly.

If there is a switch in your brain, flick it from science only mode to commercial, then think about this question. Who do you think the average investor will take notice of more 1) expert analysis or 2) a lone voice in the wilderness? Which of the 2 options is most likely to influence the share price?

This was in the trinity delta report:

So not guaranteed a win and not guaranteed any financial benefit if we do. So a win = 2/3p followed by pull back. A non-win = -2/3p. IMO

Just shows that despite some great progress there is still much to learn in this field. Could explain to some extent why we are so undervalued at the moment. Trials, trial results and data is what we need, and fast!

I don't think winning will add much to the sp, maybe 2/3p initially followed by a pull back.
Why do I say this?
Well, so far, the market has failed to equate the Scancell science, IP, clinical trial data and pre-clinical data to a sensible market value. Why would modi3 funding change any of that. It is less advanced than SCIB1/2 and MODI1/2 and has a potential market that is not as valuable. It may well be that funding and resources are diluted on the more valuable platforms. We shall soon see...

Really? This time last year the sp was 11p. After a "flurry" of good news, the sp rose to just under 17p. A year later the sp is 8p. So, if history were to repeat itself, we get a flurry of good news, the sp will rise to 12.5p and this time next year it will be 6p.

Be careful of what you wish for!

I won’t be selling either. In the event we don’t win, there will be a fall and by then it will be too late to sell. There is no point selling now because we may win.

I agree with you, getting shortlisted and working with top people in the field is the biggest value add. It is the hyping up the value of winning and the certainty of winning that will cause the drop in the event we don’t. In my opinion of course.

Anyway, we will see....

Yes max, one would hope that they have two well worded, well thought out messages to be issued which ever way the decision goes. In the event we do not win, a scenario dismissed by many here, there will have to be some serious damage limitation to stop the sp going even lower.

Ray, computers don’t think let alone think creatively. They carry out preprogrammed tasks. That can be programmed to learn.

The short answer is you can't. Genius requires creativity and original thought.
Computers are good at performing predefined tasks extremely quickly. Your example of matching results to a database is a good one. A computer would do this a billion times faster than a human.

Ray, well let's hope some scramble over to us and sign some licencing deals!
