Douve,
I echo C7’s comments - your views are most welcome and certainly add much to the debate.
When I made my comment about a £2M deal versus a £33M fund raise, I hadn’t even considered the dilution aspect. Although you get a smaller slice of the cake, surely the cake just got a whole lot bigger? Isn’t this the case with all dilutive funding - we hope that our smaller share will be of a larger cake or at least there actually will be some cake!
Regarding Scanecell’s deal negotiations, Bermuda made a good analogy on ADVFN ....
“ It's a bit like selling a house when you've only got as far as the foundations.”
You would hope that any buyer could see the value in the plot and examine the plans but the finished product is much more likely to entice - the kitchen and bathroom, the quality of the finish, the view from the master bedroom - where do I sign?
Overall, I can only see good news in yesterday’s announcement, that’s just my personal opinion.
