Smpunter, I had been on Omeprozole for over 10 years before stopping a couple of years ago. It was hard at first and got through loads of gaviscon. Be careful not to get the recent gavison which itself is a proton pump inhibitor like Omeprozole. I think it’s scandalous that people can self diagnose and treat themselves without prescription.
I’ve just tried to book a flu jab. I am told that supplies are reserved for 65s and over. I’m 64 so can’t get one despite being vulnerable, asthmatic, a carer for my 96 year old father in law and entitled to a free jab at work which I can’t get as I’m off sick.
GF, I have no reason to believe Knowlesi does not have shares. I have no reason to believe you don’t hold a significant amount. It is not surprising that when other companies in the same space are concluding deals that shareholders ask “why not us”. As you rightly say, we don’t know what discussions are taking place and when a similar announcement for Scancell might come. When it does, let’s just hope it eclipses all those we have looked on with envy. ATB.
Yes, it is certainly of interest. Obviously it is difficult to make comparison between two different companies who have perhaps slightly different approaches to different targets! What we do know, is whatever it is they do, Genentech think it’s worth chucking £500m at. That’s worth 70p per share in Scancell terms.
Thanks Ivy, I had found the news items. $200m upfront and near term with $515m milestone payments. They won’t even be listed on the exchange until 7th October. Makes Scancell look rather Tardy!
Morning All, Yes, it is a little disappointing that there has only been one piece of significant news since the fund raise - funds from Innovate UK. Still, they have only burned through two months worth of cash. I suppose there’s a possibility they will save up all the news for the AGM. Anyone else think the same?
WTP, “ However I'm too used to his/her agenda driven, doom laden, fact twisting, subtle knocking, subtly negative and fact twisting posts, so hope you can understand :)”
Sorry, I can’t understand, this is patently not true.
TF, The problem is WTP can’t see K’s post and I can’t see Inan’s post (probably misquoting K) that WTP can see. WTP can see my post (correctly quoting K) so hope that clears everything up!
WTP, The problem with filtering is you may get a distorted view if they are misquoted. Here is the full Knowlesi post (I thought was quite positive)
“ Not for profit - possibly in the UK but worldwide market will be available. Anyway nice problem to have - profit or not, if we can have a commercial covid product our market cap will be many many many multiples of where we are now.”
Oops, forgot to mention it was one of those little Fockers, turbo prop I think they called them flying coffins because of the shape (not the safety record) I’m not that heavy! The most drink per hour I’ve ever consumed on any flight - pre dinner drinks, wine with meal, after dinner drinks- not bad in 55 minutes Dublin to Bristol. ATB
Bunsie, What’s off topic? Surely this board is all to do with health and wealth. The health bit is not just cancer treatment but all aspects of the human body. Unlike you, I do need to loose weight. I remember many years ago on a very empty Aer Lingus price I was asked to move seats “to balance the plane”
