Thanks for the mention earlier. I think our 50p could be the first sensible target to be achieved. Hopefully that would put every LTH in profit or at least break even. It would certainly put me in good profit!
Now, the recent rise. Is it assuming news must surely come? What news? Will it be better than expectation causing continued upward movement? Or, will it be confirmation of that expected and halt it in it’s tracks?

I agree, lots of new buyers and I wouldn’t be surprised if the newbies now outnumber the oldies. Anyway, in time I’m sure they will become just as old and dodgy as us.

In terms of news, mabs and Covidity could be soon. I think we will have to wait longer for MODI1 other than news that trials have been approved.

If you add up the trinity valuations for just SCIB1, SCIB2 and MODI1 it comes to 74p - that would be my target in the medium term, say next year or so.

I appreciate the big pockets some pharmas have but they will want value. If you won the lottery you wouldn’t buy a Ferrari for £200k and then pay the same for a mini would you?

Immunomedics were valued by the market at $10b and Gilead have paid twice that.
They have one of the drugs approved (for TNBC) but a few others in the pipeline.
If Gilead are on a shopping spree and fancy Scancell, maybe they will pay twice our market value - 26p a share? I wouldn’t be too impressed, I think we are worth a bit more.

Yes, I am clueless to your investment why wouldn’t I be? I am not privy to your personal dealings as presumably most here aren’t.
I asked a very simple and reasonable question I thought - if you have continually bought over the past few years, how can you be in profit? You have answered me, and I accept that it is mathematically possible. You invested a small amount when the price was relatively high, and upped you investment while the price was low. Very astute, wish I’d done the same!

So you must have invested a small percentage of your funds in order to retain enough to buy in at the lower prices. Obviously doesn’t work if you go all in. What would happen if the SP continued to fall and you funds got exhausted?
I understand the concept, I have used it myself in casinos. It only works if you have unlimited funds and the casino doesn’t have a house limit (although to be fair I’d be out of funds long before the casino Lol)

I think you will find the worm that has turned is the share price. If you think that is miraculous, perhaps you should have more faith in the science.
I have tied up a substantial amount of money here, and kept the faith so forgive me if I’m a little offended by the cheap snipes.

It is very difficult to envisage how anyone who has “kept buying” the last few years to be in profit.
I have “kept buying” the past eight years and am not yet in profit. What are you doing that I haven’t? Genuine question, I want to learn.

A good summation. Funding was always the worry - I feared another “keep the lights on” raise at 4p. With the benefit of the inverted, backward facing crystal ball I always knew it would be £15m at between 5.5 and 6.25p.

BTW Ray, I have never doubted the science. At times I may have doubted Scancell’s ability to fully exploit the science commercially but not at this particular time.

It is a bit disingenuous to suggest that the only two posters to spot the potential, the novel science and to back it with their own cash are just you an Inan. I think everyone here has endured some pain but felt it would be worth it in the end.
