Just to add a bit of detail...

Scancell since August have in the bank:

£9M from the August raise
£12M from the October raise

That leaves £3M from the OO to current shareholders in progress.
£23.9M in convertible loan notes.

Don't you think Scancell have more than enough funds to "play with" already?

Pistol, the share price won’t be too much of an issue as we could do a share consolidation so a 1 for every 50 would get us to £7 or $9. Some of the other criteria like turnover, cash flow, number of shareholders may prove problematic but not insurmountable given the backing of Redmile.

I’m not sure it would have much effect on the SP. Perhaps by a few pence in the short term but the potential value of the pipeline, the cost of monetising and the value to a company wanting to purchase us doesn’t change whether we are on AIM or NASDAQ. Either way, at some stage the true value will be spotted by the market or made blindingly obvious to them.

C7, nothing much to add to the valuation debate. I have only attempted to put a value on SCIB1 /2 and MODI1 as TD have. These are based on market value, market share and profitability. There have been no material changes on these factors (correct me if I’m wrong). The significant change is the number of shares going from 465m to 984m in the past few months. This 112% dilution will half any SP estimates I made before this.

Of course, this may be offset by value coming from Avidimab and Covidity. I’m not sure how you can assign a value to these, they are more complicated. You are not valuing a cancer treatment but a component of a potential cancer treatment. I’m waiting to see what TD have to say. I’m also interested to find out how much of the cash they add to their company value.

With so much money in the bank, it is unlikely that there will further dilution before we get some “great data”.

I have noted your comments addressed to me... where to start?
Firstly, I am definitely in the “I may disagree with your view but I will defend with my life your right to hold it” camp.
Secondly, I am all for a bit of banter and have enjoyed such with both of you and Ray and even Inan in the past.
Thirdly, disagreeing with someone’s view should not be taken as a personal attack.
The above are my beliefs and if I have said anything to indicate otherwise I unreservedly apologise.
Now, some specifics: The departure of Inan has polarised this board. Personally I don’t think posts by amateurs on “the science” add value to our collective insight on Scancell as an investment. I realise that some people do and I respect their opinion (see point 1 above).
I have had plenty of banter with Inan over the years and I would hope he has enjoyed the debates as much as I have.
I appreciate the kindness Inan has shown you C7. I don’t have the benefit of that personal experience but take your word for it (why wouldn’t I?)

This whole Inan debate flared up following a disruptive post by ratty, not sure what his motives were?

Well there are different opinion here and hopefully all tolerated. For me, where to buy cat flea treatment is more relevant than a cut and paste of some gobbledygook that neither the copyist or reader fully understand. I don’t have a problem with anyone wanting to discuss the science or any other aspect relevant to this investment so long as it is done in a civilised manner.
You have to remember this is an investment/finance board not biology A level revision site.

I’m with Halifax. I’m not sure if the allocation was a percentage of your original entitlement or a percentage of the number of extras you applied for. As I applied for my entitlement again, I couldn’t tell as they both came to 40%.

I got 40% of my entitlement as extras last time.

Personally, I have applied for my allocation plus loads extra. I’m building a holding and as it stands now, 13p is a good price. Where it goes in the next few months is anybody’s guess. In the absence of news it could drift down to or even below the offer price. I don’t really care if it does, I may buy more lower if it does. I think the TD 11p and the Redmile average buy in of 10.6p has defined a lower limit. On the other hand, if there is news this could soar. So I see 50p plus in the next year with decent data. If it is 11p or 21p in the next couple of months is not relevant.
The above is my own attitude towards investment and not meant to influence anyone else’s action.

I found the discrepancy, I hadn't included the 4.9M in resolution 4...

Resolution 4 which is an ordinary resolution to authorise the Directors to allot shares and grant rights to subscribe for or to convert any security into shares up to an aggregate nominal amount of £4,920.721, being equal to 4,920,721 new Ordinary Shares (i.e., the maximum number of additional Ordinary Shares that may be issued on conversion of the Existing Convertible Loan Notes pursuant to the adjustment of the conversion price to the Adjusted August CLN conversion Price in respect of the Capital Raise).

I make it 984,892,240 now.

A few years back, my brother-in-law needed to “monetise” some assets to pay his mortgage. He had been made redundant and although he had secured another job was facing a short term cash shortage. He had negotiated a sale of his USA built Fender Telecaster to a second hand shop for £100. This was ludicrously cheap so I said I would buy it off him for the same but he would retain 50% ownership and could buy it back for £100. Many years later I sold it for £1500 and we split £750 each.
A shrewd investment for me and a win/win for us both.

Agree. It’s amazing what thoughts people have when they are not told what they must think!
