Yes, IF they expect to take it in house, maybe that’s the reason for a large raise.
So maybe at the AGM they can say, we can’t comment on what will eventually happen as a result of the CRUK review but should CRUK decide to withdraw funding we have the resources in house to progress a SCIB2 trial in NSCLC.

True, and Scancell will not be able to comment until CRUK have completed their review, engaged with Scancell and come to an agreement. There’s probably £10m at stake here, a substantial portion of the war chest and definitely price sensitive.

Yes, I made that mistake earlier this week and was kindly corrected by GF.
There are currently 722M shares is issue. When the current open offer is complete and the CLNs converted, there will be nearly a billion (984m) shares in circulation.
I don’t mind either way but you cannot use 984m AND £50m in the bank as this would be counting the CLNs twice.

I have started a new thread as I think human challenge trials is an important topic in its own right.

Bunsie, I think “hatred” is a bit strong. We can disagree with someone’s view and disagree passionately but this in no way constitutes “hatred” of the person themselves.
There have on ADVFN, on occasion, been inappropriate comments. I would like to think these are brought about through frustration at an individuals view or actions rather than personal hatred. On such occasions I have voiced my feelings that they are inappropriate.
I agree with you, I am no fan of cross contamination. I post on both boards and my posting style is more restrained here. It’s a bit like having to adjust your driving style in Rome to how you drive at home.

Nothing at all wrong with what you said IMO. They know more because they have devoted more time and resource to finding out. Nothing to do with knowing anything outside the public domain.
The same applies to us PIs - some do more research than others. It’s all relative to our level of investment.

Perhaps you need to credit the "average reader" with a little more intelligence. I think most adults who make their own investment decisions understand that the board of any company know things that they don't. They also understand that a company who have forked out £40M are probably privy to a few extra details as well. The BOD aren't scrambling for shares so if they do know something we don't then they aren't showing it in terms of buys either because they haven't got any money or they are legally bound not too.

I think having the same question asked 20 times will carry more weight than asked once on a list of 20.
Personally I am not interested in the detail of the science. If we don’t trust prof Durrant and team with that we shouldn’t be invested here! I’m more interested in how they plan to get trials moving and not burn through £50m without something substantial to show.

Just as an exercise I added Covidity to my model. We don’t know if Covidity will work, if it does whether it will be adopted, how many shots will be given or how the revenue will be distributed.
But, assuming we get 1p per shot and there are one billion shots (every year) it would add 4p to the share price. So 4p per penny per 1 billion shots so
1 billion x 1p = 4p
1 billion x 2p = 8p
2 billion x 2p = 16p
1 billion x 10p = 40p
2 billion x £1 = £8

So take your pick!

I’m all for balance but there is no point trying to find balance when there is none. A positive action is more an indicator than a negative one. So someone buying shares is a better indicator than not buying shares. The balance to buying shares is selling shares so if you are looking for balance, compare who is selling versus who is buying. Have the BOD sold? No.

I think it is far too early to be able to ascribe any sort of value to Covidity. It is easier with say SCIB1 since the cases of Melanoma are known, there have been no effective treatments for late stage melanoma developed over decades, we have both preclinical and human trial data to give us a level of confidence that it can progress to phase three trials and market.
Covid is different, it is relatively new and we have no data on its effectiveness yet. Also, the details of how the commercial model will work are very sketchy.

I think there is a big difference rising 300% from undervalued to fair value to rising another 300%. For this to happen I think there needs to be positive news of trial progress.
Redmile have invested £40M not £45m, a substantial sum nonetheless.
