They aren't going to roll over like AMC and this will apply pressure on other studios (beyond Universal) to always respect the theatrical window and in turn the viability of cinemas and importantly, for us, Cineworld.

Results due next week which will reveal Cineworld have negotitated well with their landlords/leases and driven costs right down as they prepare for re-open.

Ask yourself this:

1. The SP was at this level BEFORE they assured shareholders they had averted the cash flow issues
2. Re-open was not even on the radar

Given the above are satisfied, Cineworld are in a much stronger position.

No one wants to miss out on the RNS that is due.

The shorts are closing as the realisation that Cineworld have sufficent liquidity to keep them going to H2 2021 and loan maturity until 2023

These prices defy logic.

The fundamentals have moved since March yet we continue to see a downward trend.

If last year, 2019 is anything to go by, Thursday 8th August 2019, we should get the H1 results and the CIneworld BoD absolutely need to make it clear, their liquidity is in a good place to support a 2021 recovery.

Cineworld are also set for re-opening their Regal cinemas on 26th August, the same date that the UK will see the premier for the summer blockbuster, Tenet.

Yes the MCAP is persently low but remember, as long as the company has the means and liquidity to survive which it does, value will be appreciated in due course.

The facts remain that Cineworld are open in the UK, this Friday. They will then open US Regal on Wednesday 26th August when the UK can expect to screen Nolan's blockbuster of 2020, Tenet.

All industries are facing risks but March levels were points where liquidity was not averted and the world was completely new to the onslaught of covid-19.
