Most brokers lend our shares to short. I'm with Interactive Investor. They've told me over the phone that they don't, but when reading my contract, it states that they may " Loan my shares out to a third party ". The problem with II is that you can only set your sell limit 50 percent above the current price. Hope this helps.

My Dad worked for a heavy haulage company. He was part of the team that salvaged Emley Moor Mast when it collapsed due to Ice load on 19th March 1969.

There was a link about the other week relating to his involvement with a company / corruption. I believe it was Beaufont securities. Well worth a read if anybody doesn't know how despicable he is. Him and his cronies have tried their hardest to bring Eurasia Mining down, to no success. I'm surprised he's still walking, but the Russians haven't caught up with him yet.

Stinks a bit, although I'm fully loaded up here at 47p, therefore cannot grumble.
