Today, the government approved a non-binding memorandum of understanding with Volkswagen on the construction of a gigafactory for batteries for electric cars in Líny near Pilsen. The memorandum is supposed to set the basic parameters of future cooperation, but it does not indicate in any way how the company will ultimately decide when choosing a location. This was stated by Prime Minister Petr Fiala (CTK) at the press conference after the government meeting

Draft Government Regulation amending Government Regulation No. 98/2016 Coll., on reimbursement rates
In the appendix to the rate of payment from mined minerals NV No. 98/2016 Coll. the items cesium and rubidium are removed, which will be automatically included in the item "other minerals" and payment from them will be paid in the amount determined for other minerals.

Because the fee for the extraction of Rubidium is absurdly high, the change in the law has not yet taken place.

one of the pluses would be lithium on Cínovec, nothing more, nothing less.
