I can’t get my head round the whole concept of taking some of your profit out of a share when it goes up? It’s not possible because what would you do with it? If the share goes up you feel sick and if it goes down you end up buying more?
Anyhow went to the AML showroom today and spoke to the rep. He said they have a “DBX event” next weekend that is fully booked and have already sold 10 which are getting delivered in September.

Ha ha true. The only reason I broadcast the fact it was a disaster for me is to put other people off from even considering it. When it comes off though it gives you such a buzz. I couldn't say at the time because everyone was nursing their wounds but I played an absolute blinder at 59p just before the RI was announced for 50p and sold the lot. Bought them all back about 4 hours later for massive gain. Lost it all of course (and more) since by trying to “think outside the box” and be clever and now significantly worse off because of it. CC and Dunnies Investment strategy is best and just sit on them....... might just have one last go though to confirm. Ha ha

The Elephant in the room which is always side lined in these discussion groups is the debt. None of us want to talk about it EVER and I don’t now other than addressing the fact that it is now finally being addressed by Stroll and the action has to be drastic.
For AML to succeed they have to discretely get rid of all of the women. They are too emotional and let’s be honest can’t drive (or park) as good as us men.
Ha ha I’m only joking lol (about the driving anyway) and would never be allowed to think that way!
I think we have backed a winner here guys and I’m all in. It’s going to be an exciting couple of months and I for one are sitting on my hands. NO MORE DAY TRADING.

The Aston Martin product development team comprises 960 designers and engineers, covering almost all aspects of new car planning, design and development and is based mostly at Aston Martin's principal production facility in Gaydon, U.K. In late 2019, in support of the launch of the DBX, the company will open a second production facility at St Athan in Wales. This facility will also be a production site for the reborn Lagonda brand which is intended to debut in 2022 with an all-electric SUV.

I bet Marialoveslife aka MariaHatesAM could think of a couple of reasons.
Gaydon will be a phased shutdown naturally because the 500 redundancies will be there and then a gradual switchover to St Athans. IMO.
Strategically what advantage is there having two factories? BIG changes ahead for sure because that is the only way the City will get on board. How do I know this? Because I have just finished an “auld fashioned”!

Nevas you have the nail on the head and exactly my thoughts. 30 is now ancient history but 50 is the one Stroll controlled and announced when the share price was 60p so 20% reduction.
Next ones 70p which will be announced at 84p.
If things are going well as we approach that figure I will be cool but if we start dropping from 90p and things arnt then that is the figure I will be watching like a hawk.

Just been contacted by the AML show room in Newcastle informing me that the DBX Demonstrator has arrived and ready for my test drive! They have sent me photos and it looks beautiful! I’m not going to buy one of course but they don’t know that. Great news. It’s happening folks!!!!!!!

Do I regret getting into it? mmmm no because I currently are one of the 10 who by complete fluke are up. The people you really need to ask though is one of those pensioners on the other board who have lost everything. I will go one step further though Stick in saying that if you are currently running a successful business then you have access to funds and I can promise you that your £1000 limit will be exceeded within the next couple of weeks! We will leave it now but keep us all informed how it goes and I wish you well.

That was the point I was trying to make yesterday Stick. 9 out of 10 people lose money. The BIG winners are the Market Makers of course but the majority of people “start off with a £1000” and before you know it you have got your Mother in Law advertised in the local rag “offers accepted”.
It’s totally addictive mate 24/7.
There’s people here with their pension invested. The chat groups are absolutely littered with people who are trying to win their money back it’s awful. Worse still their are guys not only laughing at them but were previously encouraging them to invest by ridiculous claims. It’s toxic. Be careful.

Marialoveslife. Just like WG you are one of the characters that makes reading this discussion board so much fun. If it was just full of people doing high fives and back slapping singing the praises of AML it would be boring. Ginger if you are around it would be great to hear from you also.

Doli you only get one chance to make a first impression and I really didn’t like you at first but I (like no doubt others) have warmed to you BUT you also need to move in with this multi alias thing. They do exist there is no doubting that but look at the past history of some of the people you have accused (including mine) and you will see that it makes you look now let me be careful what word I pick ehhm silly to keep making those accusations.
