Doli and BristolCupid I personally haven’t got a problem with either of you. You clearly have a problem with a number of posters on the AML board including me and your constant accusations that we are all the same person is bordering on obsession and I fail to understand why you don’t just permanently filter us? This is a public discussion board set up for everyone to discuss whatever takes their fancy so if there is a thread that doesn’t take your fancy OR started by a poster you don’t like then simply don’t click on it. Yes I was watching a live feed at the time and it flashed from 57.09 to 52.5 for about 4 seconds and then straight back to 57.09.
Somebody on an earlier thread printed to trades both around the £Million mark I think?

Seriously wouldn’t recommend it to anyone though. If you get caught out with news then you lose all your hard earned gains and some. I was actually buying when that drop to 52p came in the safty but it wasn’t reported on the ii platform and was so quick only a couple of seconds. Couldn’t believe what I was seeing.

Truthfully I didn’t I just couldn’t. If “played” with 10% of my shares and didn’t get greedy. 0.3p covers the costs so one deal was 0.8p and the other 1.3p so ended up with 1500 shares more shares for the same £. Yes yes I know it’s going to end in tears Dunnie but I’m addicted to the thrill! Ha ha

Everyone knows whatever you say will not affect the share price one iota so if you don’t fancy making a prediction then take a chill pill and sit on your hands.

Good point PC also are the dealerships independent or under the AML umbrella? Anybody know? If the demonstrator is classed as a “sale” then that’s another 162 to add to the tally.
The dealership I went to had BMW’s Mercedes and other makes all lined up presumably trade ins? I always thought they would just go to auction?

Oh something else the rep said (which is obvious in hindsight) is that they will get most of there enquiries when the car is actually “out there” ie September/October onwards. There is going to be a lot of curtain twitching for sure.

RNS 0512G 19th July 2019 states that AML has 162 Dealers in 53 Countries. Now i know (or believe) that they have sold 10 to date. This of course is without test drives because they have only just taken delivery of the DBX demonstrator. The assumption therefore is they will now sell more?
This makes sense why Stroll is holding back until after the Launch (This weekend?) to do the final tally. If the numbers aren’t great then he will hang on until the numbers are good!

The main thing to remember us that this is a discussion board and each and every one of us has an opinion (and a prediction!).
If we keep being respectful towards one another and don’t for example name call then it can work.

CC ask if there is a DBX “Event” those weekend in all the showrooms please. There is in Newcastle by invitation only. I was told that they have already sold 10 from factory visits earlier in the year and they are getting delivered in September. Also told they have got a lot of test drives booked in this week.

Well i was surprisingly accurate in predicting that the share price was going to drop without a Welcome RNS message from the new CEO. No claim to fame of course because it was obvious and it has recovered thankfully so nothing spoilt.
So what’s your thoughts about tomorrow?
Something similar? I can’t see it breaking 60 without some sort of news and I can’t see proper news until Monday at the earliest?

Sorry guys genuinely no ulterior motive for the above post. Just thinking out loud. No more day trading for me for sure. I’m all loaded up now. Even when I was it was never my style to say bad things so others sold anyway.

Going to be extremely disappointed and highly suspicious if the new CEO doesn’t grab this opportunity to outline some sort of mission statement in an RNS.
So my prediction is 7:00am RNS and early 60’s share price.
If no statement then we could very easily lose last weeks gain and back to early mid 50’s ffs
IMHO of course.

Oh and even the MCAP figure of £1.74 BILLION immediately AFTER the Revised outlook RNS which is the price the shares fell to as a result of the terrible news is still very good. Ie

1,740,000,000/1,824,014,450 = £0.95p

Been going over the last couple of years if RNS’s and thought I would throw my findings out there.
Ok so the share price graph is almost impossible to understand because of the share dilutions so the only reliable comparison over the years is the Market Cap.
The Trading Update and Revised Outlook RNS 5341G on the 24th July 2019 sent the shares in free fall and although averaging £10.35 (MCAP £2.36 BILLION) for the previous couple of months prior to the RNS fell to £7.66 (MCAP £1.74 BILLION). The share price then averaged £5.50 (MCAP £1.25 BILLION) until Jan 2020.
We have exhausted COVID and share dilutions so if we agree that theoretically and potentially AML has got to be in best position EVER to actually now succeed and become prosperous then let’s draw a comparison to now today to just before COVID.
So
MCAP Jan 2020
228,002,890 x 550p =
£1.25 BILLION

MCAP today
1824,014,450 x 57.90p = £1.05 BILLION

Does that surprise you?
Ie That we are now very close to pre Covid MCAP value?

Now here is the best bit.
If the DBX is a success then a MCAP of what it was before that disastrous RNS Trading Update and Revised outlook (above) in July 2019 must be achievable.
Ie £2.36 BILLION
which my good friends is a share price today of drum roll......
2,360,000,000/1,824,014,450 = £1.29

All IMHO of course!
