Oh Dimi where do I start...

Ok, likewise I also sold my entire holding but on Wednesday for just less than 72p

Intended to have a break but spotted and “opportunity” and invested 50% of it in IAG (BA) @ £2:20
Thursday morning realising my mistake quickly sold all of my IAG for £2:08 !
Frantically bought back into AML today at 68.5p !

Total shares Before 361,668
Total shares Now 367,564

I am also really disappointed with my performance!

What would I change? Nothing! It’s good fun. Ha ha

Yes AML is a safe bet now but that’s not a bad thing and I think it’s a mistake to wish you had your funds in “that other share” that trebled last week although we all do it. If only if only.

Here is something you will all like and will NEVER forget. Go and get a tape measure (please do this) preferably with inches on it and pull it out until you get to 70. That is “3 scores and 10” ie (3x20 + 10) when you either die or your life is almost over. Find out where you are within the numbers and look how far away it was when you were born and how much you have effectively got left. Where did that go?

I really have loved this experience and because of sheer fluke (and AVCT) have ended up with an absolute fortune (to me) in my account. Somebody in an earlier post asked what exit strategy every body has and I don’t think one person here has got one. Funny isn’t it I’m at my most happiest when I don’t have any shares in my portfolio? I’m all cash now kind of wanting for it to go down so I can get back in but also secretly hoping that it doesn’t so I can at least try and walk away and get my life back. Truth is if it wasn’t for this little community we have created here and you guys and our “story” I think I would call it a day.

Yes at break even needs to go down a little more to make it a worthwhile exercise otherwise no point taking the risk but I have got a plan...

Hi jsh selling a share and walking away with your profit is how do I say this ehhm not possible. Lol
If you sell and the share price goes down you automatically buy back in. No question.
If you sell and the share price goes up you call yourself a fool and buy back in. No question.
If you sell and manage to do neither of the above then the proceeds sits down n your account for up to 3 days because they purposely set this limit to tempt you to trade again so you do regardless of the price. No question.
Even if you manage to pass the 3 day test and get the money back into your bank account you constantly watch the share and invariably spot an opportunity and quickly txfer it all back and buy back in. No question.
The only way out my friend is to lose everything. No question. Ha ha

What I do know though is a 2M buy is a good thing!

Also note the time of the 2m buy coincided with the drop in the share price. Very clever and my guess is the MM or let’s say the software which we call the MM automatically started to drop the price to get people to sell so the order could be filled and obviously purchased at a lower price. If I am correct you hen hopefully there should be a bounce back in the morning ha ha wishful thinking since I bought at £2:19!

Yes for sure there is a bigger picture that us little guys are not privy to. Also of course if Boris gets us guys to holiday in the UK then that’s good for our economy. None of this will matter though in 12 months and everyone here IMO will be sitting pretty and amazed that we got in at today’s price.

About 2 weeks ago based on my 0.3p theory I had a frantic day of “trading” kept saying to myself that even if I made a couple of hundred quid it was worth the effort. I had 4 batches of 50,000 trades and tried to keep track of buying and selling each one individually. At close of play I had over 20 transactions and realised that some of them I had bought and sold at the same price! Ha ha absolutely clueless and ended up at a loss.

3300 sold 10% of her holding at 69p late Monday with the intention of buying them back at a lower price. It closed at 70p and Tuesday Morning shot up to 74p. I believe she bought them back hastily 72ish? Watched them go up to 78 and then back earlier at 68p!
Trading is an emotional rollercoaster and not for the feint hearted! Lol
