Tbh Dunnie I’m itching to move on from all of this.
The whole point as I’m sure you will agree is to make money and because of my good fortune with AVCT I have made a small fortune (100k+). I have tried to walk away a couple of times but at the back of my head I’m convinced I can beat the system and are seeing a pattern. Everyone here is doing exactly what the MM are expect us to. It would be foolish to sell now and they know it. In fact they have got us by the short and curly down to 50p.... so what are they going to do..? I will give you a clue it involves the words walk and down. All IMHO of course.

Selling all my shares this morning would be perceived as being a stupid thing to do..... by 9 out of 10 people.....mmmmmm.

Well done Dunnie. Hit the nail on the head. Nobody EVER mentions the money that was raised? In our case correctly so because it was sadly needed to pay off debt and keep the light on which was a shame.
Jokes aside MacRS you really should at least try to understand exactly the maths of share dilutions. Time to move on now though I think we (I) have exhausted it!

It is a lot to get your head round and I do find it confusing so here is a simplified explanation.
Let’s say a Company has 100 shares worth
60p each.
MCAP = £60 ie 100 x 60p

20% dilution ie 20% more shares so now there is 120 shares.

Value of the Company is still £60 so each share is worth
60 / 120 = £0.5 ie 50p!

There is an argument that the value of the share is still worth 60p and whoever can explain why will escape detention!

A 20% dilution is approx 18% reduction in share price.
So 50p placement equates to 60p exactly!
If you apologise swiftly you will miss detention.

MacRS don’t shoot the messenger but 20% dilution of 50p is 60p not 52p.
3300 I hope you are right with the DBX sales but if you are doing a guesstimate then using the max possible figures is a big ask! A high % is realistic though IMO which is still good.
I think we are all going to be pleasantly surprised by the sales figures for the existing stock. Especially if they are clearing it by putting it in auction.

It’s important to remember that my son was speaking to the salesman so whatever he is being told has to be taken with a “pinch of salt” but the guy said he had been to Wales and actually driven the DBX and loved it so my guess is that all the sales people have been through the same training?
Anyhow if it’s true that they have sold 30 other models is the last couple of months and you multiply that as an average for the 160 salesrooms in the rest of the world then that’s 4800!
We are all obsessed with DBX and it’s easy to forget the other models.

I mentioned a few months ago that my son is working in Canada (Toronto) and is waiting to test drive the DBX. He was initially told they were getting the Demo in September. He got a courtesy call yesterday informing him that this has been delayed until late October early November. He pretended to be interested in other models and on a plus note was informed that since they last spoke to him (about a 2 months ago) they have sold 30 of their “other” Aston Martins so obviously gradually getting rid of the stock which is good news.

Yes ridiculous but anything is of course possible and anybody who is saying that or agreeing is doing it for one reason and one reason only.
Everybody here is a stranger looking out for themselves. Don’t forget that. Some more obvious than others.

We are all being played. The guys who designed the software that drives all of this know what we are thinking before we have thought it lol does that make sense?
Example: The price rises and you don’t buy because you are already “fully loaded” it breaks 60 and up to day 65p then 68p and holds for a few days. They then drop it to 65p. They have now got our attention and we are all sat there with our fingers on the button to buy at anything below 65p when we had ample time on the way up but didn’t bother?
We then celebrate “loading up” at the bargain price of say 63p.
That’s my take on all of this and the only way you can beat them is be aware and wait for it - think outside the box! Ha ha

BigPlonker there have been 2 huge share dilutions. It has nothing to do with Covid. In fact the share price now is the same as it was pre Covid.

Another 2800 shares added to my portfolio for free by selling at just over 59 and buying back an hour later for 57. Still ended up £ down like everybody else because of the drop but this is a great time to increase the number of shares for when it does recover. IMO of course and risky but BORING doing nothing.

The main thing is to keep laughing and whatever happens next week the MM’s can’t take away our health so we are already millionaires oh and always remember in 100 years none of this will matter! Ha ha

So here’s mine.
Nobody wants to sell at a loss and 1 Million x 10p is £100,000 so 5p = £50,000.
If these guys have 75 Million then waiting until the price recovers is in their interest before they off load anymore.
Soooooo my prediction is a very quick drop to 10% above 50p so 55p to shake the tree and get nervous people to sell and then onwards and upwards to a close of 65p.
