Motivation, I could write an essay on this but I’ll keep this short.

What motivates a Cornerstone to invest?

I’m sure it’s different to our motivation, or is it?

It’s about money, yes.

But the difference is timescales and how the return is realised.

Most of us will be on a far shorted timescale than the Cornerstone. I know I am.

Not many of us will be around for the life of the mine. The Cornerstone will.

That changes their motivation and strategy for investment.

Again most of us will be share price oriented with growth with a few younger folk staying past that point.

The Cornerstone will not care about the share price. They will only look at the revenue they can achieve over the life of the mine.

Okay you say be the bigger slice of the pie now realises them a larger chunk later in revenue.

Yes, but with our resources FOMO may kick in, even for a cornerstone.
