My goal for this share was to run it through to production and get a healthy income from dividends so I was here for the long term an hence had no thoughts of selling but just sitting on my hands.

So now I’m going to have to wait and see this through.

I have 150000 share at an average of £1.09.

So I’m currently about 80p a share down. I’m in the brown stuff so forgive me if I am a bit desperate and depressed!

I was looking for some opinions on financial funding and not an accusation I’m not real.

What are the funding options?

As a very long term investor in HZM I duly sat on my hands when the RNS came out on Monday as I was half expecting some requirement for extra cash. By the time I’d examined it in detail and realised the enormity of the hole I was at the bottom of it.

I’m now in deep trouble and trying to find some solace in understanding how HZM came escape from this. So what are the options?

The first option I thought of was to sell the prize asset, Vermelho.

But at what price? Would its sale raise enough?

I don’t think it would raise the $200 million required.

The second was to borrow the cash.

But how and what security would the banks want?

Large % interest rate as a bridging loan?

Large % royalties?

The third is an equity raise.

A couple of months ago when the MCAP was $450 million you may have beefed able but at an MCAP of $70 million I doubt.

The fourth is HZM are made a buyout offer.

PIs will be screwed.

Fifth. Banks foreclose.

PIs even more screwed.

Please help!

…probably driven by a few speculators on the Half-Year Report which is due out on Friday.

The UK government have signed into law the net zero goals for 2050. Part of this is the banning of fossil fuel cars by 2030. This is what industry is following. If the government has nothing to do with it then you best start putting son brown sauce on you hat.

They say a week is a long time in politics, so will Sunak be PM in a week’s time. Lol.

To be serious industry timescales are different to government.

As Ford have said, they are already gearing up for 2030. Will this government be in power by the end of next year?

Will the likes of ford wind back on global investment due to Sunak’s U-turn.

The loan is a gold loan of about 2000 oz at 14% interest.

65k tonne ore @ 1.1g/t should be approximately 70 kg gold not the 20 kg stated. So in theory 1200 oz in progress to be shipped. Hummmmm!

At least be factual. What was the record low?

I was thinking this morning, (dangerous I know), that due to all that BKT are doing the government has been focused on that with their limited staff, so no bandwidth to deal with ACP. Now that’s done I hope focus will now be on ACP.

They have to at least publish their accounts or the share will be suspended.

… but stock market regulators dictate they have to publish interim reports by end of September. (I believe?)
