RE: Calver meet19 Aug 2025 14:10
Redirons:
I'm just the office boy, luckily I enjoy doing the organisation of these meets.
It is great that Bamps has come to all and presented allowing me, to understand more about what may happen, we need that disclaimer as we have no attachment to GGP other than to have sank money into it, and had faith that it would in time return to us with a fair profit, which now looks very likely.
I do think GGP is unique in its shareholder base in the UK, (happy for anyone to find another), I am sure that attending meets has helped shareholder to understand the prospects and the risks, and there are plenty of them still, I know that some have decided to stay and are now in profit, where they were thinking of exiting at a loss.
I do find it surprising that more investor are not on the list to at least get information on the up coming meets, (I refer to Hens teeth) some wait till the day before then ask to come. I see a time very soon that these meets will be filled from the existing lists of interested investors.
I like it as there is none of the calling that goes on on the BB's, I thing that small meets to discus and understand the investment that we are all part of would be good without the presentation, there is such a depth of talent within our investors.
Several days later I can better appreciate the benefits of the recent meet, and as each is similar but different, I am looking forward to Stirling next month. (and incorporating a short break).
I believe that Stroud in September is now full or not far off reiterating that the opportunity to attend may soon only be available to people who are known to the organisers (with me it is contact ggpmidsmeets@gmail.com)
