They did not need that many to cross the threshold to declare

We now have the RNS that saying that on the 4/9 Blackrock crosse the threshold. they needed 8.7 million shares from there previous stated position.

No volume on either or both markets account for this number of shares being acquired.

On the first point we all know that the 'first' publication of 2026 guidance was not what the market expected, and it has done damage, results will repair the damage.

On the point about funds passive and managed buying in can anyone produce figures for the buying requirements of the passive funds?

In the back ground are Dark Pools being used by these to acquire the shares required? In which case watching the published figures tell us nothing, other than the enhanced number of shares required by these funds are not being traded openly.

The inference that it was lucky, I'm not so sure,

We LTH of GGP are very lucky, that Shaun needed employment at the same time as we required a leader.

I think the saying that goes something like 'The harder I try (practice, study etc) the luckier I become' has a lot to do with it.

In Shaun we have someone who is at the top of their game, having done several 'Apprenticeship' Uni, early employment and the advanced Apprenticeship with Northern Star Resources.

In my case I have been lucky to find GGP in mid 2020 (I did not feel lucky often between then and now), I made mistakes of not selling in 2021 but I was lucky to not need the investment, (I feel sorry for other not so lucky) I bought in on the way down at one point when the price was about 18p (as it cannot go much lower) at the time Havieron was making good progress.

My broker did not take part in the fund raise last year, this meant that I could not buy at 4.8p, but the market price was 5.3p that I managed to get some, I sill do not have a very low average price, but lower than todays price.

We have over the last year been very lucky, but I do not attribute any of this to myself, I go back to the fact someone did the hard grind as someone always does have to, to make money, and I thank Shaun for that.

The Puts give us the right to sell at the price, taken out with the Banks.

I believe the option available to the board was a full hedge (with no benefit from the upside of the gold price)or Puts (with full benefit from the upside of the gold price), and without them we would not have got the debt finance at the time of the deal last year, without the debt finance the deal may have failed.

Now in hindsight seem a waste of money, but in truth a brilliant strategy.

yes mandate force buying

but some are not mandated to buy into ASX100 companies so sell (ie mandate for other indexes but not ASX100)

In any quarter we may not meet the low production figure so we may not do as well as this, but with all the variables this must be a good estimation, poorest guidance with current gold price, our selling price will be slightly less.

If these are being collected for other(s) taking positions then are these going to hold,

If so that does reduce the number of shares available and in the longer term will mean our base requirements for the price to rise to where we are in a position to start our exit strategies

If this is the situation then the sooner their holding are public knowledge the bettrr
