While funds do hold cash, most of the the value held in investments (pretty obvious) so they need to sell first then buy, so you could see activity in the companies being dropped first then the buying, we can only sumise let's hope the next week bring a change, I was happy to add at the price. It is a two edged sword, but in reality the only time personally the price effects us is as we exit.

I now doubt you are right and the reason is that they are passive, nearly all invested, so to buy ggp they would have to sell a share in the index. The etf are different but would thing they has similar restrictions, to bring the best return you need the money invested, so a slow increase in shares for these.

End result both have to buy so fast or not holder value will increase.

Passive funds gave to invest most of there customers money to work correctly, so at the rebalance, they sell down and load up, depending on the index chsnges. The major changes with gdx fund highlight this.

With the criteria for inclusion in the Index on which the fund is based as of 19 September (ASX/UK next trading day) so Monday 22nd, we should be in and as the Index data has been collected on 29 August, looking at the video I see Perseus at 0.65% so we would have a smaller % if we are included

It does seem strange that we issue different details to different markets like the inclusion into the ASX200/300 was only issued to the ASX it is as relevant to the AIM shareholders.

On the ownership % the document issued was an AIM/London document.
