Why back so soon?9 Jul 2022 08:56
Revelations re funding coming up, the main issue of course being the completion of the 5% FMV transaction. With the sp still hovering in single figures and shorted stock in the 10s of millions, there`s something going on in the background which has prompted a second visit to London. On a positive note, a drilling prog announced for Scally and Rudall. That means they have, or expect to have, sufficient money in place to support their plans for further indep exploration.
What has been bothering me for a while is that there is something in the legals which balances the Havieron situation in favour of Newcrest and to the detriment of Greatland. Why is SD here for another investor presentation when he left our shores only a few days ago? It`s not as if Oz is next door. So what has prompted another 13,000 mile trip?
Let`s hope that the IP is aimed at bringing in new iis, showing them the compelling range of factors which prove what an attractive stock this is in the medium term for them. Get that sp moving swiftly back into the 20s. My fear is that there is a 10p placing coming up, caused primarily by a lowball offer from NCM which isn`t going to leave enough spare cash in the coffers once their $50m has been repaid. Developing Hav + engaging further with their 100% interests does not come cheap. If, with NCM paid off, SD is going to be hanging out the begging bowl at 10p, at least it`ll be all-guns blazing from that point onwards. The JPM global crooks will have made a mint on their short, and that`ll be the end of their involvement here.
Onwards and upwards as we go through H2, with NCM/GGP interests fully aligned once more. This is an easy money-doubler for new arrivals stepping in in July at bargain-basement price.
