Some of the people who are invested in it cannot see it for what it is. The pre-CB business model has essentially failed. Now it is all about CB, which is unlikely to be the game changer people think - just look at the first steps TXP is taking there.

Successful drilling is not a TXP forte though. Much more unsuccessful drilling and TXP is toast. Throwing money at consultants won’t help - the sad fact is that TXP is playing around with geology that others have given up on - a classic AIM MO. Now it is all about Central Block. I suspect Shell are happy to be shot of their interest there, for reasons that will become clear to TXP shareholders over time. It is all just classic AIM shareholder value destruction.

Harsh. I think time will tell that my comments were fair. At the end of the day it’s not your perception of me that matters to your bank balance, it’s the outcome of PB’s debt heavy strategy. I don’t see it ending well, but it’s your decision whether to take the risk or run for the hills.

Sturm - it is healthy cynicism, not bitterness. For a long time it just about calling out the rampers, correctly as it turned out. But now that everything is in place, this is beginning to look like a potential zero (or as near as makes no difference). That debt is a millstone.

Good post aligator. Market not reacting significantly because it became clear when the placing dropped that the finance for the acquisition and therefore the acquisition were going to go through. Speaks volumes that it all had to be preceded by the placing. Dunderheed’s scepticism is hardly misplaced.

I would think so Johnoxxx - they were pretty shocking. The Cascadura-4 update was presumably an additional kick in the teeth. Hard to know whether they have any comeback though.

No half-yearly report from RRR. The normal deadline was extended during COVID but I assume that extension is long gone. This one seems to be heading into suspension. Care to comment?

I guess that all BBs go this way, particularly in the absence of news. But it has to be said, Helpful, that you have ramped this one all the way down. What is it going to take for you to finally lose faith in AB/RRR?
