Do you really think the Russians are going to let the west tell them what they will buy their oil of them for? I don’t, and I don’t blame them.
All this bs about Russia being stuck is absolute nonesense, they are selling plenty of oil and gas still and Europe are still lapping it up on the quiet.
They will take it at market price or starve their economy’s. Probably end up being the latter and then they can carry out the reset agenda and blame it all on Putin.

Old tax losses are still deductible from the base 40% though?(anyone know what’s left of them?)then capex relief of 91% is a bit of a positive. The gov have shafted UK oilers like I said they would but there’s still upside in HBR for sure.
I expect to only have around 6-700m debt by the time the 75% WT kicks in in January.

We need more production outside of the U.K. that we can hedge at these levels to overlap unwinding hedges. We dont want to get caught with too much production unhedged in an economic downturn that is inevitably coming.

I do agree with a lot of that oil, there is better ways to use funds without a doubt.
Atleast when this buy back completes we should have cancelled 10% of shares in circulation (incl last buy backs) and added to the dividend yeilds going forward.

Having said all that we shouldn’t need to be buying our own shares back at these levels. If these brokers give all these ratings why are they not filling their boots?
As ever nothing is as it seems with PMO /HBR and management are to blame along with uk gov for the lack of confidence to invest here.
