Operator Harbour Energy says it is “deeply disappointed” that the energy profits levy now won’t expire if oil drops to around $70 a barrel.

Infor, that’s all well and good but if that was truly the case they would have cut of prices where normal tax rates kick back in as a safe net for company’s, They havnt set any because there won’t be any.
Regardless of tax relief everyone knows by the time that investment produces, the likelihood of commodity prices being what they are now is very slim due to the recession that is on its way, and it will be a recession like nothing we have seen so prices back to $60 mark very likely in 12 months time imo.

Hbr was a very time sensitive investment for me and I thought I could recover my money before this mess unfolded but the GOV have tightened that noose quicker than I thought they would.
