Yeah, because they never use multiple entities to keep the shorting activity below the waterline. Of course it is being shorted. We know at least one particular who is very likely organization involved.

I too opted to hold, expecting a further rise as the lift up to 240p was rather modest in the circumstances. We've seen this kind of activity before on Tullow and a lot of shorters got burnt. I think the same is likely to happen again.

Backsides will be getting kicked re: production at TEN, that is certain. At the end of the data the market is deferring investment decisions re Tullow until Carapa news. I actually expect it to recover somewhat either way.

Worth pointing out also that the rise on J+J news was as much due to the attack on Saudi that weekend than the news release from Tullow. Essentially a few % up on drill results, 40% down for discovering oil.

Volume is still 3 to 4 times normal, concerted effort to get this under support.

The extent of stupid games being played with this stock is shameless, even using Friday afternoon drop in volume to push the price down a bit. Sad.

Why would a non listed company have a NOMAD?

For clarity all investors holding shares still hold a legal stake in the company. If the company were sold for example, would still need to be paid out cash in exchange for you shares proportional to your holding. A relist is highly desirable so that we can easily trade our holdings, but there are still avenues to trade your shares if you are desperate to retrieve capital.

On this point please can I just suggest to people doing this. It makes me so angry what you are doing. The best way you can screw up any chance of a relist is by turning the listing into a total farce by posting irrelevant , ultra negative ranting on social media against what are supposed to be positive launch messages. If you want to stab yourself in the face please go do it elsewhere without spoiling other people's experience of this launch.

Do you not think the only reason this has dropped it the same reason as the rest (I also hold HTG) have dropped -i.e. Trump's twitter diplomacy with China? He's playing hard ball to close a deal. Soon as it is done Brent will go 65+. As for shale, they are almost all reporting that new rigs will be funded out of revenue not borrowing which will cap their growth going forward.

I agree with Maverick, trading Tlw has returned a very nice return over the last year. 177p was a gift. I sold a a little early at 230 but tlw likes to drop hard when it drops as I have learnt the hard way from holding on too long before. I think any buy in at 205-219 is going to offer a good 60-90p rise on the next rally.

Before you add over much consider that as Medcos advisors and backers withdraw their interest as it becomes obvious a vote isn't going to happen the share price is likely to fall away somewhat while the dust settles. While the activists and others can scupper this deal, there is no guarantee that the seemingly discredited board will play ball.

It is possible that Medco could up it's offer but given its behaviour so far I suspect it was only ever interested in a bargain basement asset grab.
