I'm being a tad pedantic here but the different terminologies jar a bit. A RCF probably has a review date but is it built in the same way as the SFA? I thought it worked in the same way as an overdraft but maybe we have one of them too. What does the S stand for in SFA - I guess the FA is Financial Agreement?
.........and now Squif is calling it RFS whatever that stands for. Could we agree on a terminology of this part of the financing at least that is SFA.

It is mystifying and most here have stocks we wouldn't dream of buying or have shorted but tend not to go on those boards and post incendiary comments with little basis in fact. It isn't a special skill to be able to wind people up but better if there is the odd bit of humour in it but there is a total absence with NH because people with antisocial personality disorders have no understanding of how normal people feel and have never felt guilt. He isn't being nasty just trapped by his condition. I pity him but if a few others want to engage with him there is nothing we can do.

I am the toilet roll king of Barnet (ask E121 or hitman) and Costco is defying gravity. BP and Boeing go to the wall whilst Costco rules the world. Talk about crazy! Hard decisions will have to be taken as they do in wartime. The rhetoric is stoicism at the moment but aggression is never far away. I agree it is scary. They're talking of taking away my liberty. I won't be able to use my Freedom Pass.

Have you seen BP and Shell? Perhaps I was wrong about ox-carts and clogs! The world still needs oil and I don't think one supplier will sit well with those who think they run the world.

They would have been tolerated when their production was more modest but continued to ignore the warning signs and carry on milking the cow. They thought it was fine for them to over-produce but KSA and others had to limit production! Allowing the US to keep a lid on the oil price whilst other countries sacrificed cost control and gave them a profitable base.
KSA ignored it when the US compensated by using sanctions on Iran whilst most of the R.O.W. let the US continue to do similar to Venezuala. The crux though is that the US didn't know when to stop over-production. To MBS it might have seemed like the smallest player 15/85 was now controlling the industry. A kinda "tail wags dog" situation.
E121 will have better data than me but by now I expect the US majors are now feeling the pinch on conventional extraction and have mixed feelings about shale. Yes it is quick harvesting but the environmentalists don't like it and the odds on the next President being a Democrat are dropping. Sometimes certain businesses become just too much trouble. The US majors are now hurting on two fronts. Conventional and shale. Their discipline and forward planning would have curbed the "irrational exuberance" of some of the shalers and Donald Trump. When this is over maybe the grown-ups will be back in charge.

*I expect the "lock-down" due to the virus to be of the shortest duration. If the doomsters are right then we could see the knock on effect of power stations not having enough staff to run the plants safely to be shut down and hospitals needing generators and fuel. Naturally there won't be enough generators and the daily Mail will find even more emotive language to terrify the nervous. Of course that won't happen and there will be contingency plans. Just thought I'd get it in first before the trolls jump on it. I actually have some sympathy for the trolls as the current surfeit of bad news and excitement must mean they've run out of tissues.

That's my thinking too if it is as contagious as some suggest.
I don't think we're at peak panic yet though as I tried to go to Costco, Chingford this morning. Long queues and that is for the trade customers. I asked how long to an employee to reach the door and he said 1.5 hours minimum. Massive queue of people.
I think the problem is that CV-19 mainly affects the old and those with existing conditions. Annual UK deaths in England Wales were 541,589 population c. 59 mio. That is about 1500 a day and higher in winter. Most will be old or die from a condition. I think Governments are aware of just how important this group is and the catastrophic result of losing them all at once. My own doctor is overweight and diabetic but he is more important to the community than me. If it did hit with full force the US residents now buying guns might not look to silly.
Hopefully the NHS and care system gets a well deserved overhaul once this is over.

Only in America! I reckon if EnQuest tried something like that they'd be slaughtered. It would be seen as a towel thrown into the ring.
