Asking here, because this board has the best analysts compared to other boards and the obvious link as Deepverge use affirmers for their Breath Test. What do people make of their rns, does their test sound like it will have similar performance to Avacta's test or does it sound like it's going to be less accurate?
It now makes me wonder if Avacta will be awarded a tender directly or if tenders get awarded to the manufacturers instead. And out of this £374m, Odx will have to pay the test companies like mologic or avacta for the IP,affirmers etc?
£10 would be life changing for me. I like the way this is building, slow and steady. No major profit taking over £2 shows many see this as a solid LT hold. If the tender is worth anything near a billion, we easily get to £5. You can feel it, we are so close now. I just hope their are no more twists, i can't handle the disappointment again.
Yes Avacta is my biggest holding. Amazing company with huge deals coming soon. It's all been hush hush but maybe deepverge can't talk too much about affirmers due to NDAs with Avacta. Hopefully avactas success feeds over to deepverge which is so undervalued imo. I hope the breathtest is using avactas affirmers
Because we own shares. So it's technically amazing.
I wonder if this is why we are making a hybrid test. Avacta picks if the person has covid, and mologic test the N protein to determine the variant? As he is saying the S protein is not where the mutation takes place.
Vostick totally agree today was not the day to talk in detail about the tests. They will show and explain why the new tests are better and quicker closer to when schools open and when Avacta's test is fully validated. They has to instill confidence about these new tests, so I think it will get it's own slot. They hardly spoke about testing today.
It's such a mess. It feels like the gov have been brushing Avacta to the side (maybe because its not their mates company). Nevertheless Avacta have worked through this negativity and bypassed them and went to Europe to get the validation. Almost feels like the gov didn't want our test to pass. In the end, noone can defeat a working test with these numbers. The article now puts pressure on the gov to address avacta's test directly. They would look very stupid if the best British test is not being used by the Gov. It's a genius move by Avacta. The fact that Abacta could prove PD validation method as inaccurate is so damaging. This is one very complex and political situation.
Fissch you won't believe us if we told you as you need to research. But we have followed the company for months. Avactas goal was always to make the best test at scale. Last week we had a RNS confirming the results of the test, which are best out there. (Final approval is anyday now, or Bojo will announce tomorrow). We have already got deals with the main manufacturers, ODX, BBI, Abingdon, as well as Mologic working with us on a new hybrid test. The gov can only reach their target of 2m tests a day with Avactas help. Everything points to Avacta being the holy grail test. And we are better than the manufacturers, because we own the IP of this magical strip which binds to the virus. BtW this isn't even the main part of our business, we are ctually working on a cancer treatment, phase 1 this year. Avacta is a big deal, don't sleep on it.
In famous WSB terminology .....Diamond hands people. Buy the dip. YOLO. We are going to the moon. Take your stop losses off. Dont let them take your shares for cheap. I'm topping up if it's under £2. Not selling. MM will run out of stock and this will fly. Short term traders sold last week near £2. So most are now in for the longer term. Momentum buying will shoot this past £2 so buy what you can. The route to £5 begins. GLA
My estimate for the year.
£3 With the gov contract (even without we can get there with europe/USA deals)
£3.50 with the European deals
£5 with USA deals and BAMS.
£6 with the Saliva test
£10 once people start pricing in the cancer treatment opportunities
£10+ on takeover speculation
£15+ on successful cancer treatment
I have had my moments of doubts, which is normal considering how long everything took. 'some' people on here have been very good at explaining some of the complex stuff which was helpful.
Is anyone thinking about topping up their position on Monday morning? We will blow past £2 i think
