Dodger sp has been in a down trend since Christmas. Last time sp was this low was April 2014. Chinese are the largest investor in Africa. For all the rumours of bid(s) and divestment sp fall has accelerated.

Buy/sell flag is calculated simply whether it's above or below bid-offer spread midpoint. The transaction was @ 7.55p when spread 7.5-8 and midpoint was 7.75p ~ so automatically flagged as a sell. Beyond stating the obvious that every sell has a buyer and vice versa the fact that trade price was so low, if transaction was buyer led, screams that there's little/no demand for OBT shares which also explains price drift to new 52wk lows. With hopes for sp recovery pinned largely on a sale of the timber business, probably to the Chinese, confidence is being smashed by market uncertainty, tanking Chinese shares (which could impact their real economy) and poor communication and earnings visibility from OBT. Sp will go lower imho. Sitting on a hefty loss on my holding currently so hoping as much as anyone that OBT can pull a rabbit or two out of the hat asap.

Entirely predictable market response ~ yes there were some positives but it's all still jam tomorrow until someone expresses an interest in the forestry division. So AIM is actually functioning totally rationally on this occasion imho!

Operating losses (before one off adjustments) fell by 60% but still a £4m loss For me the timber concessions are the only element worth investing in OBT ~ when they're divested and special dividend paid I'll be out so bring it on asap please!! :)

ALK RNS duly issued and states "Alkane does not believe it is in breach of the Capacity Market Rules and will fully cooperate with Ofgem's investigation.". Would have preferred a stronger statement saying we have full planning consents for all generating sites. sp down 15% @ 20-21.5

ALK one of 5 companies being investigated into whether they were Capacity Market Rule compliant in Dec14 auction. ALK successfully won 15yr, 40MW contacts for 9 generators. OFGEM stresses that investigations are not an implication of non-compliance. Even so market unlikely to respond positively ~ ALK should issue own RNS to confirm they are compliant asap.

Really? There's only 1 trade at 19.9p (x25k) and that's mine ;)
