The more I read the RNS the less I like it. The new trading company will now be paying each SPV a fixed return of 5% per annum (ie $150k) of the aggregate investment payable bi-annually in addition to the (prorata) economic rights from their SPV's concession area. Seems like OBT have just taken on a liability for the concessions which have so generated peanuts.

I'm inclined to agree Funki... the timber concessions/spin-off was what interested me & this RNS doesn't push any buttons. The positive is that OBT now has more cash in the bank but when is it going to start generating significant positive cashflow from operations?

Sure but still doesn't explain why they've chosen to draw down already when they can show ability to service from audio cashflow and take cash when they need it. Do they really need £7.7m to tide them over to breakeven in the summer? Are they still burning cash on Sensium despite reviewing strategy? Small alarm bells ringing for me.

Correction... they would have still had £2.7m in the bank if they hadn't drawn down the loan.

Welcome semi-recovery but no fireworks. Question which has been bugging me slightly is why have they chosen to drawdown full £5m loan already, with all associated interest costs, when they have £7m in the bank, audio is bringing in cash and health division review is underway.

Pretty much as expected ~ audio doing well, health division doing nothing. TMZ now saddled with £5m debt. Business expecting to be cash positive, and conclude health division strategic review by mid16. Summary = more jam tomorrow. I hope if no progress by the summer TMZ knocks health division on the head as audio a cracking success undervalued by the drag of the health division's failure to commercial patch.

Key lesson ~ if company you're invested in says it's facing or taking arbitration or legal proceedings more often than not it's time to head out of the door at earliest half-decent exit price. Never invested in OXS but learned that lesson when 6-figure paper profits rapidly diminished when GKP announced it faced legal action a few Christmases back. Holders will be devastated especially at this time of year but if you've got your health, family & a roof over your head it's really not the end of the world so have a few jars and put it down as a painful lesson.

Starting to think I've missed something obvious or some #### is going to hit the fan that some holders at least are aware of whereas the rest of us aren't :(

I have contacted them as a fall of this size & possible material impact on timber operation needs a RNS response.

Not sure if OBT were successful in gaining licences for the recently acquired 35000 hectares which were bought to achieve critical mass. Looks a bit of a mess tbh. Needs RNS clarification if plans for spin-off or impacts operation.

I see from advfn that Mozambique has suspended issuing new logging licences (& apparently restricted exports to prepared wood rather than raw logs). Shareholders losing patience ~ BoD need to decide what this business is focused on not flip-flop all over the place. Without potential for timber spin-off return this is a fast becoming a bit of a dog.

Ignore bear warnings at your peril. The bears are right more than the bulls in my experience. Even if you think it's just some shorting conspiracy it's better to sit on the sidelines, usually as sp slides, until you've done your own research. TW isn't everyone's cup of tea but he can still point to a list of companies where warnings have been totally justified and the bb rampers totally wrong. No-one is infallible but I'd prefer to preserve my capital/miss out on a bigger gain than lose it by backing another AIM dog. It's always the PI who get shafted whilst others are seemingly tipped a wink to buy or sell at opportune moments whilst regulators do sweet FA.

Worst case scenario is TMZ dump the health (sensium) division and concentrate on their profitable digital audio division. sp @ a very miserable 2.-2.3. It's time for BoD to make some commercial decisions ~ can sensiumvitals be commercialised or not, invest more or not, justify sales staff payroll or not.

I would have thought OBT will own a stake, assuming new company also raises cash through an IPO for new shareholders, with OBT sp rising to reflect value of holding. I doubt individual OBT shareholders will be given free shares in new company but you never know I suppose. Not enough details to get excited yet as the value market would give to new entity is a big question mark as is impact on value of rest of the OBT business. Is current value less or more than the sum of separate parts in the eyes of the market?
