Cobus Loots, CEO of Pan African Resources, on delivering sector-leading returns for shareholders. Watch the video here.
Positive report. Recommended buy with a target price of 700p.
I'm over in Bishop's Waltham. I've been to the 'Spoons in Cosham, so that is a possibility.
Neocantus - regretably, I have some agreement with your interpretation of the "successfully completed" wording in the RNS. (Must be the first time I've ever agreed with anything you've written!) I was a little concerned at the time by the wording but realistically that RNS was issued over 6 weeks ago and if the potential buyer had serious concerns and was going to withdraw the offer then I believe they would have informed EUA by now and we would have heard through an RNS. This is undoubtedly a complcated asset sale and I would expect the final offer to take up to 8 weeks or possibly even longer from completion of DD.
TC101 - Completion of DD was announced 6 weeks ago yesterday, though may have been completed earlier. 8 weeks since DD takes us to 23rd December which I believe is a timeline by which you'd normally expect a firm offer (if not earlier) but who knows with EUA! In terms of holidays etc we need to bear in mind that the Russian Orthodox Christmas is not till 7th January so if NN are the potential asset buyer then they will be working around different Christmas BH's. Lets hope its sorted by 23rd December.
Peckham Rye 1 - Agree entirely on what a Xmas lockdown might due to the economy but my point was that Doris has not promised anything. Unfortunately all options are open. We can but hope that disruption is not serious.
Mizman - Doris has not guaranteed that there will be no Christmas lockdown. All he has said is that Christmas will be better than last year. Given the last minute "canceling" of Christmas last year it isn't very difficult for him to suggest it should be better this year.
You were deramping on EUA earlier and now you’ve appeared here. Time to move on.
RIP JTMAC
I have been wondering along those lines. Something has changed in thinking from "shortly" and yet I would imagine they must have sight of a draft JORC.
Gecko - obviously they will be continuing the work behind the scenes but they will have delays if any work involves lodging any formal documents eg transfer of assets in Moscow.
It appears to be National Holidays in Russia, 1st to 3rd November, followed by Day of Unity (4th) and Public Holiday (Bridge Day) on the 5th, so presumably not much can be moved forward this week?
Their current target price of 24.9p includes the 40% upside from the current share price being used 17.8p) - 17.8p plus 40% equates to 24.92p.
Couple of late buys, does someone know something?

E-lse - Yes, I was confused by the lack of a sell button but if you click on buy it will give you the option to buy or sell. There is then a time consuming form filling for which you can get a price for selling shares including fees. This is how I did a "dummy" sell which gave me the lower fee. (I'm assuming this is the real fee and there is no hidden catch!). I didn't find it user friendly and couldn't find out how to place a future price sell order. I'm unimpressed with the new arrangements and am currently monitoring prices with a similar view to yourself. I wasn't keen on Link but this is worse!
E-lse, you're presumably referring to the paperwork you received from abrdn and specifically the EQ Share Dealing Form. The rates on that form bear no relationship to those you'll obtain if you do it on line through the share portal. Personally, I can see no reason why anyone would use the form provided when it appears to be a lot cheaper on line.
E-lse, where did you get dealing charges of 25p per share from? I did a "dummy" sale on Monday for, I think, 1100 shares and the dealing charge was nothing like that - it was something in the order of £17. However, I am also considering moving my shares to HL so would be interested to hear how you get on but please don't compare with 25p per share.
It would appear that to sell shares that you click on the link to Buy and that takes you through to a Buy/Sell option. I did a "dummy"sell in an attempt to clarify the dealing charges and they do not appear as high as the rates and charges quoted though cheaper elsewhere. I don't find the new share portal user friendly at all and can find no record of my SLA dividend history. Has anyone found this?
Agree 100%. Still no letter. This is ridiculous and apparently no easy way to make contact.
Picking up on Hudson's second comment (buying at 20p to get a return of say 50p) what puzzles me is that in the May Private Placement of US$20m for Rosgeo JV whoever was that buyer would be in that very situation. It would make sense if that investor was the same as the potential buyer.
Mr Triumph - you haven't heard of Professor Paul Hunter and yet you are informed enough to be aware of that well known news outlet MSM? What is the news outlet MSM? Presumably you're referring to MSN. If you are trying to make yourself sound informed please get your facts right.
