Exactly. The share options were the incentive for getting the FO's etc over the line with the hoped for increase in share price. I don't see there being further big bonuses as they've already got them.

DO - Have you forgotten that AB, LT, GF, RS and other senior officers/managers already have outstanding share options totalling just over 4.1m (per RNS) which I'm sure they will wish to avail themselves of in due course? The next challenge for AB & co is to get the share price moving upwards.

Greener101 - If of any re-assurance, I'm in any similar situation with regard to SIPP investments. Admittedly I do have another pension in place plus an overseas property which I can turn to in terms of equity but I see this as having the potential to provide "an icing on the cake". Let's hope we're right!

I've been out of action with some form of dreaded lurgy the last few days so a belated Congratulations to AB and the team for completing FO2. Additional congratulations to all the genuine LTH for all their patience which is finally reaping rewards.

99icecream - it was an interesting calculation on the value of accumulated losses per share but I suspect DU is correct in so far as treating the losses as gross. Furthermore I think you need to include share options within the share capital. AB, LT, GF, RS and other senior officers/managers have outstanding share options totalling just over 4.1m (per RNS) which I imagine they will wish to avail themselves in due course. Thus the number of shares issued will eventually reach closer to 37m bringing the value per share lower.

CHF - The source of AB's comments can be found in the RNS which if read closely is, I believe, more informative than the presentation.

It suggests to me that discussions on FO2 are well advanced and I believe we will hear something in December if not later this month.

Once again the classification of sells and buys are misleading. A couple of the small sells yesterday morning were actually buys (500 plus 3x100 around 09:55) and the 4,968 trade at 11:25 this morning was actually a buy as were (probably) the 1,112 and 100 trades earlier today.

JS - Yes, you have every right to praise or criticise the management but the general idea is to have some basis of truth in terms of the content, which seems to allude you.

JS - Your last comment is complete rubbish and, as far as I'm aware, without any foundation. You purport to be a serious investor and yet you continue to post comments criticising AB and the BoD whilst you say you have a significant holding.

Jersey V&C has been "floating around" for a while. Nothing new. JOG have several companies. Another company, Jersey Petroleum Ltd, shown as having 38% interest on the LIcence P2170 data has a significant controlling interest (greater than 75%) in V&C. In turn Jersey North Sea Holdings have a controlling interest in the Petroleum company and at the top of the tree Jersey Oil and Gas have a controlling interest in North Sea Holdings. Benitz and Forbes are Directors in all companies within the Jersey "group".

Andy144 - Assuming you can believe what JS says, he's been selling JOG shares in the last month or so to invest in PANR. This would suggest he now holds below 3%. He has also probably been the largest seller of JOG during this period which means he's been a contributing factor to the fall in price that he complains about. You couldn't make it up really, except JS does just that on some occasions.

JS - How exactly do you expect the 2nd FO to be completed before there is an announcement on the FPSO, which is outside of JOG control?

Alsoppc - yes, agree with your analysis. Whilst a 2nd Farm Out can be discussed I can see no sense in it being finalised before the FPSO is agreed.

JS - You talk of requiring patience and yet you seem to be the one struggling to deal with the required patience. The general consensus is/was that we should hear positive news in Q4 (October - December) and I'm sure a number of us thought that might include the latter half of September as being the return to normality after the summer lull. The reality is that we are now on Day 5 of Q4, hardly running late! Along with everyone else, I'd wish for news sooner rather than later, but as usual these things take longer and are more complicated than we'd like.

Suggest you re-listen to the recent ORCA CEO interview in which positive comments were made regarding the JOG team and the difficulties of progressing along and keeping to the planned timeline were highlighted.
