Dfinity racing away - $115.68

Have a look at Gunsynd (GUN) as they have a decent sized holding in Rogue Baron.
Plus holding Low6 as it lists in Australia in a few weeks.
Plus they have a stake in Rincorn in the Haveiron region alongside Greatland Gold.

With regards Kod, I cannot see Rgo exercising the right to convert that loan in full to shares unless they felt the Kod share price is about to take off.
Watch this space.

Secondly on 8th March Intertrader increased a short spread bet to the tune of 29,354,120 shares but at the same time they increased a long position by exact same amount which is baffling, as you're either short or long not both?!

One could absolutely open a long and a short position in unison.
Nothing wrong with a straddle and a great way to cement a profit if you think a share price will stay in a tight range.
Example -
You buy 5m Vodaphone at 130p and happy to hold
You write 5m covered call say May 140p for 4p - That 4p is paid to you
Result - end May share price is 137p
You still own your shares and you made a small profit from the rise in shares (5m x 7p) and you were not called on your call so you also made 5m x 4p.
You are free to go again and write the Aug Call Options.

They need to raise whatever is required to complete the takeover of their chosen and agreed target.
That could be £6m, it could be £20m....
Whatever is required so long as the deal is exciting.

I attended the recent placing presentation and it was mentioned that the company has yet to commence full marketing. Minimal spend so far.
Now must be the time to spend to accumulate clients.

I am curious as to how many use the Mode app to day trade BTC as that is where the commission generated grows quickly?
I cannot see it really, as anyone who wants to day trade will be set up with Pro accounts at the likes of Kraken with commission as low as 0.15/0.05% on the maker taker scheme?

- Their Treasury investment continues to grow
- Staking of BTC continues to return decent interest (and 5% paid to investors in their jars)

It would seem they do need funding and likely before the end of May. Working backwards I would expect the board to have signed off the amount required to secure a future for at least three scenarios (I am sure revenues will play a part but without knowing them best to keep the numbers simple:-
a) 12 months
b) 18 months and
c) 2 years
The lower the share price on the market then logically the lower the period chosen.
I would expect the board to go for cash to survive a minimum of 12 months and as close to market price as possible - so £6m at 6p...

I would add that a lot also depends on 'what' and 'who' provided the £1m of non trading cash in January -
Calculation - end Dec cash £2.3m less Jan loss of £600k plus £1m gives around £2.7m end Jan so it seems to me that around £1m was provided...
If that non cash payment was a pre-payment from an ad agency or even a brand like Burberry , then who is to say more non-trading cash may not be available? That would change what cash would need to be raised. It certainly changes when cash is needed?

The final grey area is revenues. If Q1 has grown significantly on Q3 and Q4 of 2020 then again they may not alleviate the need for additional cash, but it may delay when?

Just my thoughts.

Andy, Gfinity have NOT declared that they are making profit every month.

John Clarke announced on Tuesday 2nd February 2021 as follows:-
"The Company delivered a strong performance in December, building on the month-on-month profitability reported in October and November. As a result, on an adjusted EBITDA basis, Gfinity was profitable for the final quarter of the 2020 calendar year"

Then the important part....
"the Company notes that due to the project-based nature of the Company's revenue streams and some seasonality in the business in the short term it does not imply the Company will always be profitable on a monthly basis going forward"

Girdz, quite frankly it is great to hear both sides. I am good hearing a helx as well as the more positive.
I am actually quite surprised how easily people throw toys when hearing some less positive views.
In the end always good to hear both sides.
The issue I have with Bids, and this is less about whether Bids can be successful, it is simply that there are so many opportunities out there so why have cash tied up in a share that has stagnated.

They did raise a small amount of cash in the listing contrary to what I have read by posters.
I have had the chance to review the listing prospectus and I think the key to success is:-
- distribution sealed across UK and Europe
- cementing a place in the Tequilla VIP sales market - expecting to be able to sell at $500 plus a bottle and they have a good stock in place
Overall, I like the fact that they have various product lines inc Whisky, Tequilla and a ****tail brand...

Does anyone have an idea what the free float is for RGO?
It is useful to know that a free float is shrinking as shares are bought and held...
