Agreed and then they had a placing to institutional investors only in December which raised £60 odd million and took the shares in issue to 815m approx.
As i've said previously they do have form for printing shares if you go back through the RNS...

Good to see people still re-iterating that historic charts on HYVE's own site, HL, etc are incorrect in relation to what the share price actually was on a given day pre RI/Consol. Fair play to this site for maintaining the chart as it was, so in calculating MC, use this sites values. Newbies should understand the history when looking to the future.
And yes, i'm invested here, and FWIW my view is £3ish after resumption of normal business is do-able.

Ah negative goodwill, well not really my favourite....
I think Euan will have kitchen-sinked it. If he hasn't then we don't want him. To be clear I don't think it will re-occur.
You have indeed done your bit. If I get a chance I will look at forecasting cruise but i'm not sure there's enough detail to see the true time related costs....amd im not account.

Afternoon all.
Its all got a bit revved up with this over the last couple days so I waited and mulled the numbers before weighing in.
The Bulls case is 80p EPS by end 2021 if I read it correctly. Pianista has tabled a more measured view down at 50 ish.
Now 80p means an unencumbered profit of circa £112m (ie none of my pet subject negative goodwill and other write-downs).
The 4 previous years were 2017-£157m, 2018-147, 2019-180 and 2020-110. (note 19 and 20 were then smashed up by the write-downs.
Bearing in mind the pressures on the insurance margins, I see the first full year after covid to be no better than the last full normal year, unencumbered by write-downs.
But clearly the results to Jan 21 are not going to be pretty at all. And in my opinion "normality" is going to be the summer if we are lucky. Paris Air show in June already cancelled, petrolheads will probably view Le Mans in June as unlikely also).
SO the year to Jan 22 is going to be half no travel new normal insurance, and hopefully half full new normal. Who knows what that might be but I don't think anywhere near 80pEPS. That will be Jan 23 I think realistically.
So I reckon 40-50p next year, 80 year after assuming it all gets going in the right direction.
Now how the markets forward value any of that will be interesting, as trading updates may well allow a view prior to results.

I was basing that on previous years where it landed very early Jan, with the exception of last year where it was December piggy backed on some A465 bad news. I haven't seen an official date though.
I am too attached to it. A great Brit contractor that is essentially doing what it was when I graduated. I do hope it doesnt get snapped up and becomes great again!

I fear we've probably all got a board like that. Mine is COST. My industry, I know plenty about the business but with the exception of one guy who works there, nothing.
You just have to shrug it off. After all , that way we can all post complete rubbish about everything without fear of someone knowledgeable coming on to put us straight....
