Rns 30 April 2014 I wonder if the German companies have said to Hardide please please test this for us because we think it will save us lots of money OR I wonder if Hardide have gone to the German companies and said we think we can save you money on these particular products. Please let us test them for you. Bit of a difference from my take on things. I wonder which it is? besr regards RRJ
Triumphbiker Nice to hear from you again, it's been a while :-). 26 oct 2012 Is this recent knowledge of tests or back in Oct 2012? Best regards RRJ
Flowserve has worked with the Hardide company to introduce their coating into the McCanna top entry line. We are also testing it in the Worcester line. the above is an extract from the below link. Really it doesn't make for good reading in my view because it shows there are a lot of other coatings out there. Hardide has its limitation. It's not a coating that does all and I guess there will be new coatings at its heals. Just something to think about. Check out the section - What is Tantaline? http://www.bibbcontrols.com/Documents/CVO_Metal_Seated_Valve_Trim_and_Coatings_Application_Guide.pdf best regards RRJ
Lionel I have looked into this a little and td direct investments call it a 'Bed and ISA' They assured me that if I did it myself there would be no spread and just a cost of a trade. Through them over the telephone cost a bit. If you do it online costs roughly 12.50. DYOR Hope this helps. I have to do this yet. I will report when I do. Will be interesting to see if anything shows up on the trades. Best regards RRJ
LionelGreen Are those couple of million trades now showing from yesterday, yours then?:-) Regards RRJ

It's busy today, which is nice
Lionel all I can think re 4m trades is that the mm keep them in their pocket for a rainy day. And I suppose thrre is good sentiment about so they'll be able to get rid of them later. AIMO DYOR just google amati. Makes for interesting reading. regards RRJ
2 x 2m sells yesterday. Possible Amati off loading? will have to wait for a holding RNS if it is. regards RRJ
Are you seeing this through L2?
2156094 shares.... it's possibly the trade shown on the 10th March 2014. it fits. Is this the start of a bit of off loading??? regards RRJ DYOR
Your not kidding team83. The middle of 2008 saw hardide drop from roughly 6p to roughly 2p pretty much just over a couple of days. There were at that time less shares about so perhaps not so relevant to now. What I'm trying to say is that there may not be many people in the range 2.5p to 6p. I don't know if this is going to affect the share price very much. Perhaps someone could post their views. I could just be talking gibberish. Something to think about though. As always DYOR. regards RRJ
I wonder if the de stocking issues from last year has gone. With the diversification on going and the new GE agreement hopefully Hardide might realise a profit again. Fingers crossed. Mid of this year is Hardide's best guess for the Airbus trials since they have been delayed. Might get a trading update in the later of this month but for me, no news is good news. Regards RRJ DYOR
You've just gotta love em.
Rumour of the day.
In this newspaper aswell. google directors talk the times daily rumour. Regards RRJ
LionelGreen The trade of 1,000,000 at 10.10.47 at 1.81 was at a time when other trades were going through at 1.9 - 2.0 personal I think it was a sell but you might be concerned with another 1mil trade. regards RRJ
may the force Your missing some noughts. Shares in issue from Hardide's website = 1,026,084,638 regards RRJ
Not just electric. From GE website. GE is a global infrastructure, ï¬nance and media company taking on the world’s toughest challenges. From everyday light bulbs to fuel cell technology, to cleaner, more efficient jet engines, GE has continually shaped our world with groundbreaking innovations for over 130 years. I wonder what this component is. Could be for a jet engine. Who knows. If you do please post.
Just re read the news. I like this bit. 'The agreement is for the supply of coating to a single component currently used by GE....' This is for a SINGLE component. Single for me being just one solitary component. Of course if there is something else to coat at GE it may not be the same size or volume or whatever it is Hardide is coating. None the less it looks very promising. regards RRJ
